Philip Munson Louis Emmick Bert Hilliard Margaret McElwee George Stevens Jane Bush Horky ROLL CALL Supervisor Present Councilman Present Councilman Present Councilwoman Present Councilman Present Town Clerk Present The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 8 :00 P.M. having the clerk take the Roll Call. Supervisor Munson stated that the Family Forum would like to bring the Lansing Directory up -to -date with the assistance of the Lansing Firemen. Financial help will be requested from the Town. The Tompkins County Municipal Officer's Association will be meeting at the Station Restaurant on January 30, 1985 at 6:30 P.M. The topic will be "Solid Waste." RESOLUTION offered by Mrs. McElwee, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Emmick: RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Contract between T.G. Miller Associates p.c. and the Town of Lansing for the Engineering and Surveying - HUD PROJECT - Water Line to South Lansing. Vote of Town Board . . . . (Aye) Philip Munson, Supervisor Councilman George Stevens requested the clerk to notify Ms. Nancy Zahler, Director of the Tompkins County Youth Bureau, that Kathleen Mahoney, the new Lansing Director of Recreation, would be the Lansing Representative on the County Youth Bureau. Councilman George Stevens and the Members of the Town Board discussed the admirable accomplishments of John Cummings as a Member and Chairperson of the Lansing Recreation Commission over the past years. Supervisor Munson to write letter of appreciation on behalf of the Town Board. The 1985 SPCA Contract versus the town handling the dog control was reviewed by the board. Following discussion, it was the consensus of the board that Supervisor Munson continue looking for a person interested and having the building facilities to handle the dog control for the town. On motion, meeting adjourned at 9:20 P.M. 1
