The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 8:00 P.M. having the clerk take the Roll Call. Proof of Notice having been furnished, the Supervisor advised the board that the Public Hearing was now open on the Preliminary Budget for the year 1985, as called by the Town Board and so advertised in the Ithaca Journal and posted according to Town Law 108. The persons present were each presented a copy of the 1985 General and Highway Fund Preliminary Budgets and a copy of the Maintenance and Operation Budget for Water District #2. The budgets were reviewed by the board and persons present. Proof of Notice having been furnished by the Clerk, the Public Hearing on Proposed Uses of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds for the calendar year of 1985 was called to order by Supervisor Munson at 8:45 P.M., as advertised in the Ithaca Journal and posted according to law. Supervisor Munson stated that proposed uses of Federal Revenue Sharing • Funds for the calendar year of 1985 would include Park Projects, Youth Projects, Elderly Projects and Highway Projects. The amounts proposed to be allocated to the various projects were reviewed. All persons desiring to be heard, having been heard, and no objections made to said proposed uses of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds, the Hearing was terminated at 8:55 P.Pi. The Town Board Members discussed the Public Hearings just held, following resolutions were then offered. RESOLUTION ADOPTING GENERAL FUND BUDGET offered by Mrs. McElwee, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Hilliard: WHEREAS, this Town Board has met at the time and place specified in the notice of Public Hearing on the General Fund Preliminary Budget and heard all persons desiring to be heard thereon; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby adopt such General Fund Prelimin- ary Budget as originally compiled, as the annual budget of this Town for the fiscal year beginning on the 1st day of January 19855 and that such budget as so adopted be entered in detail in the minutes of the proceedings of this Town Board, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk of this Town shall prepare and certify in duplicate, copies of said annual budget as adopted by this Town Board, together with the estimates, if any adopted pursuant to Section 202 -a5 subd. 2 of the Town Law and deliver one copy thereof to the Supervisor of this Town to be pre- sented by him to the Board of Representatives of this County. The water charge per equivalent unit is computed by mul- tiplying the number of gallons per equivalent unit by water rate schedule. Miller, P.C., & Associates, Engineers and Surveyors, in connection with all extensions of the Town of Lansing water system, of which the HUD project is a part, and WHEREAS, the town has executed a basic agreement dated May 8, 1984, with the said T.G. Miller, P.C. & Associates, for professional services in connection with said extensions, and WHEREAS, the Miller firm has served the town for the past 20 years in connec- tion with water systems and sewage systems, and WHEREAS, the new town system will be the source of a water supply for the HUD project, and WHEREAS, the said Miller firm has submitted an amendment covering the engineers' design and construction services to be rendered in connection with the said HUD project, NOW, THEREFORE, on motion by Mrs. McElwee, seconded by Mr. Stevens, that this board approves the amendment to the agreement dated-May 8, 1984, which amendment covers engineers' design and construction services to be rendered in connection with said HUD project, and be it further RESOLVED, that the supervisor be and he hereby is authorized and directed to execute the amendment to the contract aforesaid on behalf of the Town of Lansing, and be it further RESOLVED, that this amendment to the May 8, 1984, contract and execution thereof is subject to the approval of HUD.
