July 31, 1984
The Lansing Town Board met on July 31, 1984 at 8:00 P.M. in a continuation
of the Regular Meeting of July 10, 1984 and July 13, 1984, as called by Super-
visor Munson. Meeting specifically called to conduct a Public Hearing on Town
of Lansing Water Distribution System for the South Lansing area.

Supervisor Munson called the meeting to order having the clerk take the
Roll Call.
Proof of Notice having been furnished by the Town Clerk, the Public Hear-
ing on Town of Lansing Water Distribution System for the South Lansing area
was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Supervisor Munson.
No one appeared voicing any objection to the Lansing Water Distribution
System for the South Lansing area as presented, and all persons desiring to
be heard, having been heard, the Public Hearing was terminated at 8:40 P.M.
Town Board Members discussed and reviewed the Public Hearing just held,
after which time the following resolution was offered:
RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Stevens, who moved its adoption, seconded by
Mrs. McElwee:
RESOLUTION - AUTHORIZATION FOR SUPERVISOR TO EXECUTE GRANT APPLICATION -
SMALL CITIES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized and directed
to execute the Grant Application for Small Cities Community Development Block
Grant for improvements for water supply in low to moderate income neighborhoods
on behalf of the Town of Lansing, and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is authorized and directed to execute any
and all other documents and certifications that may be required in the pro-
cessing of this Grant Application, and be it further
RESOLVER, that it is the intent of the Town of Lansing that grant funds
received will be used by the Town for the proposed project to maximize benefits
to low and moderate income families and persons and be it further
RESOLVED, that the project construction will be primarily along existing
highways with no dislocation of families, businesses, or any establishment
except in case of emergency in which case the town is prepared to provide
shelter for dislocated parties for the period of time the need exists, and
be it further
RESOLVED, that the Town Board adopts the Interim Community Development
Plan (copy on file in the Town Clerk's Office) as a guide and basis for this
application.
