The Lansing Town Board met in an Adjourned Meeting on March 26, 1984 at
5 :00 P.M. to discuss the N.Y.S. Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and to
consider and act on any other business that may come before said board.
ROLL CALL

Supervisor Munson called the meeting to order having the clerk take the
Roll Call.
RESOLUTION offered by Mrs. McElwee, who moved its adoption, seconded by
Mr. Stevens:
WHEREAS, it appears that the State of New York has no personnel to enforce
the NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, and,
WHEREAS, local residents require permits under said Code to go forward with
their proposed building, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that a Public Hearing be held at the Town Hall on the 10th day of
April 1984 at 8:00 o'clock in the evening thereof on proposed Local Law #1 for
the year 1984 repealing Local Law #1 for the.year 1983 entitled "Declaration
that the Town of Lansing will not enforce the NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and
Building Code." Unanimously carried
RESOLUTION offered by Mrs. McElwee, who moved its adoption, seconded by
Mr. Emmick:
WHEREAS, the Town Board, on March 13, 1984, awarded the bid for a 1984 or
newer 12 passenger Window Van to Clute Motor Co. of Elmira, New York in the
amount of $10,613.87, and,
WHEREAS, said bid was awarded subject to-the approval of the Lansing Highway
Department that all specifications had been met, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has been informed that the said bid did not meet
the specifications, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that said bid of Clute Motor Co. be rejected and the Town Clerk
be instructed to rebid the Van. Unanimously carried
RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Emmick, who moved its adoption, seconded by
Mr. Stevens:
WHEREAS, the Highway Superintendent has duly advertised for bids for one
used 1975 or newer Screening Plant, and
WHEREAS, Syracuse Supply Co. of Vestal, New York has submitted a bid for
a 1979 Kolman Model 101 Super Screening Plant in the amount of $39,500.00,
said bid meeting all specifications, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the bid of Syracuse Supply Co. in the amount of $39,500.00
be accepted and the Highway Superintendent be and he is hereby authorized to
complete said transaction on behalf of the Town.
