The Lansing Town Board and Lansing Planning Board met on December 12, 1983
to conduct a Public Hearing on Proposed Amendments to the Zoning Ordinance of
the Town of Lansing. Said Hearing held at the Lansing Middle School at 8:00 P.M.

attended the Public
Hearing.

Town Board Members. Planning
Board Chairman, Viola Miller
introduced the
Planning Board Members
and Planning /Research Consultant,
Thomas Niederkorn.
Brief statements were made by Supervisor Munson and
Planning Board
Chairman, Viola Miller.
At the request of the Boards, Mr. Niederkorn was asked to make his presen-
tation.
Mr. Niederkorn stated that the Planning Board had been working on the
Zoning Amendments for the past two years and explained the process of amending
the Master Plan. He stated that the Zoning Ordinance consisted of a map and
document. Mention was made of Route 13 without zoning.
Mr. Niederkorn's presentation completed, a question and answer session
followed.
Questions and comments concerned regulations, building permit procedures
and costs and spot zoning.
