HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-10-26October 26, 1982 9 The Lansing Town Board met in an Adjourned Meeting on October 26, 1982 at 8:00 P.M. to continue study of the Proposed Zoning Ordinance for the Town of Lansing and to conduct and act on any other business that may come before the board. ROLL CALL Philip Munson Supervisor Present Louis Emmick Councilman Present Bert Hilliard Councilman Present Margaret McElwee Councilwoman Present George Stevens Councilman Present Jane Bush Horky Town Clerk Present Supervisor Munson called the meeting to order at 8:00 P.M. having the clerk take the Roll Call. At the request of Supervisor Munson, Councilwoman McElwee chaired the meeting. The board members reviewed and discussed the revised Development Policy of • the Proposed Lansing Zoning Ordinance. Following resolution offered: RESOLUTION offered by Mrs. McElwee, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Munson: RESOLVED, that the Development Policy of the Proposed Town of Lansing Zoning Ordinance, as revised October 26, 1982, be approved by the Town Board. (Aye) Margaret McElwee, Councilwoman Vote of Town Board . . . . (Aye) George Stevens, Councilman Vote of Town Board . . . . (Aye) Philip Munson, Supervisor The board members continued study of the Proposed Zoning Ordinance. The Schedule of Land Uses or Activities was discussed. Several of the land uses or activities designated to be permitted or not permitted in various districts was questioned and tentatively revised by the board. ARTICLE VIII. SPECIAL CONDITIONS AND SPECIAL PERMITS was studied by the board. Numerous Sections of this Article was questioned and will be referred to the Planning Board. On motion, meeting adjourned to November 4, 19824 November 4, 1982 The Lansing Town Board met on November 4, 1982 to conduct Public Hearings on the Preliminary Budget, Speical District Tax Rolls and Proposed Uses of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds for the calendar year of 1983. Said Hearings held at the Lansing Town Hall at 8:00 P.M. with Supervisor Munson presiding. ROLL CALL Philip Munson Supervisor Present Louis Emmick Councilman Present Bert Hilliard Councilman Absent Margaret McElwee Councilwoman Present George Stevens Councilman Present Jane Bush Horky Town Clerk Present Visitors: Deputy Clerk Wanda Brink and Journal Reporter John Huenneke, The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 8:00 P.M. having the clerk take the Roll Call. Proof of Notice having been furnished, the Supervisor advised the board that the Public Hearing was now open on the Preliminary Budget for the year 1983, ® as called by the Town Board and so advertised in the Ithaca Journal and posted according to Town Law 108. The persons present were each presented a copy of the 1983 General and High- way Fund Preliminary Budgets and a copy of the Maintenance and Operation Budget for Water District #2. The budgets were reviewed by the board and persons present. All persons desiring to be heard, having been heard and no objections made to said Preliminary Budgets, the Public Hearing on the Preliminary Budgets was terminated at 8:20 P.M. Proof of Notice having been furnished by the Clerk, the Public Hearing on the Special Districts, Lansing Water District #2 and Lansing Sewer District #2 was called to order by Supervisor Munson at 8:30 P.M., as advertised in the Ithaca Journal and posted according to law. The Assessment Rolls for the year 1983 were offered for inspection and discussion. All persons desiring to be heard, having been heard, and no objections or comments made to said rolls, the Hearing on the Special Districts was terminated at 8 :45 P.M. (continued)
