Present December 11, 1980 The Lansing Town Board met in an Ajourned Meeting On December 11, 1980 at 5 :15 P.M. for the purpose of reviewing bids on one new pick -up truck and to consider and act on any other business that may come before said board. ROLL CALL Supervisor Present Councilman Present Councilman Absent Councilwoman Present Councilman Present Highway Supt. Present Town Clerk- Present The Supervisor called the meeting to order having the clerk take the Roll Call. Highway Superintendent Sharpsteen and - members of the town board discussed the bids received on December 11, 1980 for one new 1/2 ton pick -up truck. Following resolution offered: RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Stevens, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mrs. McElwee: WHEREAS, the Highway Superintendent has duly advertised for bids for one new 1/2 ton pick -up truck, and I - WHEREAS, Maguire Ford, Inc., of Trumansburg, New York was the lowest responsible bidder with a total cost of $5,375.00, now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the aforesaid bid be and hereby is accepted and the Town Highway Superintendent is authorized and directed to complete the transaction on behalf of the town.
