McElwee, Thomas E. Kick, Alex Cima. James W. Howell, Richard N. Solomon and Consultant Thomas G. Miller, County Planning Commissioner and Raymond R. Flumerfelt. Supervisor Philip Munson called the meeting to order at 8:00 P.M. having the Clerk read the notice of the Public Information Meeting as advertised. Supervisor Munson introduced Engineer T.G. Miller to review the Plan of Study for the southern portion of the Town of Lansing, north of the Village of Lansing. Mr. Miller stated that this Plan of Study is submitted as the initial action towards application for a STEP I grant for sewage facilities planning under the Municipal Wastewater Treatment Works Construction Grants Program of the Environ- mental Protection Agency. A map indicating the boundaries of the planning area comprising some 15 square miles, a detailed planning area description, the project background and need for facility planning were reviewed by Mr. Miller. The proposed work schedule for STEP I Wastewater Facilities Planning Study was also discussed. A question and answer period followed Mr. Miller's presentation. RESOLUTION offered by Mrs. McElwee, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Emmick: RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is hereby authorized and directed to submit�a Plan of Study and make application to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for sewer study grants for the southern portion of the Town of Lansing, and be it further RESOLVED, that the Supervisor make application for County participation and negotiate Contract for study with Engineer T.G. (Aye) Philip Munson, Supervisor RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Emmick, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Stevens: RESOLVED, that Alex Cima, Jr. and Louis E. Bush be reappointed Members of.. the Town of Lansing Housing Authority, effective as to the expiration of their previous terms. Alex Cima, Jr., term to expire July 11, 1984 and Louis E. Bush, term to expire July 11, 19850 1 Unanimously adopted. RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Stevens, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Emmick: RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Lansing will hold a Public Hearing at the Town Hall, Lansing, New York, on the 14th day of October 1980 at 8:00 P.M. on proposed uses of Federal Revenue Sharing funds for the calendar year of 1981. Proposed uses for Federal Revenue Sharing includes Park Projects, Youth Projects, Highway Equipment, Services for Aged and Public Safety. Any member of the public can present written or oral comments on the town's proposed uses of Federal Revenue Sharing funds.
