AUDIT RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Bush, who moved its adoption, seconded by
Mr. Naegely:
RESOLVED, that General Fund bills #429 through #460 totalling $9,161.18
and Highway Fund bills #264 through #291 totalling $19,380.55be and the same
are hereby approved for payment, and be it further
RESOLVED, that Water District #2 bills be and the same are hereby approved
for payment.

Supervisor McDermott announced that a final audit meeting would be held
on December 28 , 1977 at 8:00 P.M. and any other business that may come before
said board would be conducted and acted upon.

The Lansing Town Board met in an Adjourned Meeting on December 28, 1977
for the purpose of auditing final bills for 1977, and act on any other
business that may come before said board.

Visitors: Deputy Clerk Wanda Brink, Water Supt. James Howell,
Justice Fred Spry, Zoning Officer Norman Stanton.
The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 8 :00 P.M. having the
clerk take the Roll Call.
A copy of the minutes of October 11th, 18th and November 10th, 1977
having been furnished to the members of -the town board beforehand, the
Supervisor asked for a motion to propose corrections of errors or to
accept same as submitted.
RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Bush, seconded by Mr. Hilliard, that the
minutes as submitted by the clerk be approved. Carried

and Highway Fund bills #292 through #302 totalling $11,046.28 be and the
same are hereby approved for payment, and be it further

The board members reviewed the positions and salary increases for the
Deputy Highway Superintendent and Deputy Town Clerk for the year 1978.
The following resolution was offered:
RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Naegely, who moved its adoption, seconded by
Mr. Hilliard:
WHEREAS, the Town Board has in past years given percentage raises to the
Highway Superintendent, Deputy Highway Superintendent, Town Clerk and Deputy
Town Clerk, and
WHEREAS, said percentage raises has resulted in disparity in salaries
between the Deputies and the Principals, and

WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to minimize the disparity in salaries between
the Deputies and Principals, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that for the year 1978, the salary of the Deputy Highway Superin-
tendent shall be increased $200.00 and the salary of the Deputy Town Clerk shall
be increased $250.00 over and above the 6% raise increases given to salaried
employees for the year 1978, and be it further
RESOLVED, that this board recommends,that the succeeding board review the
salaries.of these positions for the year 1979 and make-a formal policy as to
the future salaries of said positions.
