No action taken. Supervisor McDermott presented his monthly report. AUDIT RESOLUTION offered by Mr.Naegely, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Hilliard: RESOLVED that General Fund bills #285 through #322totalling $13,363.84 and Highway Fund bills #191 through #218 totalling $40,861.64 be and the same are hereby approved for payment, and be it further RESOLVED, that Water District #2 bills be and the same are hereby approved for payment. The Lansing Town Board met in an Adjourned Meeting on September 27, 1977 at 8:00 P.M. to conduct a Public Hearing on Proposed uses of Federal Revenue Sharing monies and to act on any other business that may come before said board. ROLL CALL Wesley McDermott Supervisor Present Louis Bush Councilman Present Bert Hilliard Councilman Present Edward LaVigne Councilman Absent Lee Naegely Councilman Present Robert Williamson Town Attorney Present Jane Bush Horky Town Clerk Present Visitors: Margaret McElwee, George Stevens and James Riley. The Supervisor called the meeting to order having the clerk take the Roll Call. Proof of Notice having been furnished, the Public Hearing on proposed uses of Federal Revenue Sharing monies was called to order by the Supervisor at 8:00 P.M. Supervisor McDermott stated that proposed uses of Federal Revenue Sharing monies included Parks Projects, Youth Projects, Highway Equipment, Services for the Aged and Public Safety. Mr. McDermott stated that the Lansing Planning Board had submitted a request for Federal Revenue Sharing monies in the amount of $3,000.00 to be used for Town of Lansing historical and cemetery preservation. Mr. McDermott reviewed the Federal Revenue procedures. All persons desiring to be heard, having been heard, the Public Hearing was terminated at 8:45 P.M. Bush, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Naegely: RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized to execute a contract for water service on behalf of the Town, with the Village of Lansing, James and Ann Maas, and Jay and Virginia Orear, subject to approval of the Village, Maas and Orear. Carried RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Bush, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Naegely: RESOLVED, that the resolution adopted June 21, 1977, as amended by resolution adopted September 13, 1977, which resolutions together authorized an expenditure of $2,987.19 for the drilling of wells for the Lansing housing for older adults and authorized said sum to be paid from Federal Revenue Sharing - Social Services for Aged, be amended to authorize payment of only $1,402.05 from Federal Revenue Sharing - Social Services for Aged and the balance of $1,585.14 from Federal Revenue Sharing - Parks and Recreation.
