The Lansing Town Board met in Regular Session at the Lansing T own Hall on
August 12, 1975 at 8:00 P.M., with Supervisor McDermott presiding.
ROLL CALL

Visitors: Water Supt. James Howell, Zoning Officer Norman Stanton, Deputy
Clerk Wanda Brink and fourteen Lansing Residents.
Supervisor McDermott opened the meeting having the clerk take the Roll Call.
A copy of the minutes of May 20, June 10, June 14, and July 8, 1975 meetings
having been furnished to the members of the town board beforehand, the Super-
visor asked for a motion to propose corrections of errors or to accept same as
submitted.
MOTION offered by Mr. Hilliard,
submitted by the clerk be approved.

Norman D. Stanton, Ordinance Officer, submitted his monthly report which
was read and reviewed by the board.

Dm Mayor Seymour Smidt in regard to rebates on
from village taxpayers. Discussion held by
of the board members present that they reaffirm
Resolution dated June 10, 1975, in regard to
McDermott was requested by the board to relay
Letter received from the Lansing Civic Association stating that at its
Annual Meeting held June 12, 1975, the following Motion was passed:
"That the Lansing Town Board take more positive action concerning the
enforcement of the Town Ordinances in regard to mobile homes and junk yards."
A Petition bearing forty -five signatures was presented to the town board by
Charles'J. Snyder, Jr.. Said Petition regarding: 1) Abuses of Ludlowville Falls
Township Park and 2) Traffic abuses in the hamlet of Ludlowville. The board and
Ludlowville area residents discussed the conditions outlined in the petition
and possible actions that could be taken to remedy the situation. The board
immediately notified the Lansing Parks Commission of the problem and requested
their opinions and advice as soon as possible.
