The board received and reviewed the plans transmitted by the New York State
Department of Transportation'of'the proposed improvements scheduled for New York
State Route 34.
The Town Attorney discussed in detail with the board, the matter of the
increase and improvement of the facilities of Water District #1 and the McKinney
Water District in regard to the intermunicipal water supply facility for the
Towns of Dryden, Ithaca, Lansing and the Village of Cayuga Heights. An ORDER
calling a Public Hearing to be held on the 26th day of November, 1974, at 8:00
o'clock P.M., Eastern Standard Time, to consider THE MATTER OF THE INCREASE AND
IMPROVEMENT OF THE FACILITIES OF WATER DISTRICT N06 1 AND THE McKINNEY WATER
DISTRICT OF THE TOWN OF LANSING, TOMPKINS COUNTY, NEW YORK, was duly adopted
by the Town Board. Said ORDER attached hereto and made a part thereof.
AUDIT RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Naegely and seconded by Mr. Bush:
RESOLVED, that General Fund bills #315 through #391 totalling $10,689.54
and Highway Fund bills #234 through #250 totalling $13,057.03 be and the same
are hereby approved for payment, and be it further
RESOLVED, that Water District #1, Water District #2, Sewer District #1
and Sewer District #2 bills be and the same are hereby approved for payment.

The Lansing Town Board met in an Adjourned Meeting at
8 P.M. with Supervisor Wesley McDermott presiding. Said
meeting to hold a Public Hearing on The Increase and Improve-
ment of the Facilities of Water District #1 and the McKinney
Water District and consider and act on any other business
that may come before said board.

The Supervisor opened the meeting having the clerk
take the Roll Call,
The Supervisor requested the Clerk to furnish Proof
of Notice, after which time the Public Hearing to consider
The Increase and Improvement of the Facilities of Water
District No. 1 and the McKinney Water District of the Town
of Lansing, was called to order.
James Showacre, Chairman of the Lansing Water and
Sewer Advisory Committee, discussed the effect of the
Bolton Point project on Lansing. Figures showing the
comparative intermunicipal benefit charges for Lansing,
Dryden, Ithaca and the Village of Cayuga Heights were
reviewed. The 1975 Lansing water benefit charges vs. the
1996 Lansing+Bolton benefit charges and the quarterly
;water meter rates for 1975 Lansing Water District #1 vs. the
:1976 Boltons(plarterly water meter rates, was presented and
examined by those persons present.
No one appeared voicing any objection to the proposed
increase and_im rovement of the facilities of Water District

Town of Lansing Highway Department will receive
(sealed bids at the office of the Town Clerk. Lansing
Town Hall, for one new 1974 3-axle Dump Truck. Said
bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m., November 29, 1974, at
the: Lansing Town Hall.
Specifications may be obtained at the Office of the
Town Clerk of the Town of Lansing, Laming, New
York.
The right to reject all bids is expressly reserved.

The Lansing Town Board met in an Adjourned Meeting at 12:00 Noon as called
at the meeting of November 26, 1974. Said meeting to consider bids received
for one new 1974 3 -axle Dump Truck and consider any other business that may come
before said board.

The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 12:00 o'clock.Noon having
the clerk take the roll call.
The board "reviewed the bid received one new 1974 3 -axle Dump Truck for
use by the Lansing Highway Department. Following resolution offered:
RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Bush:
WHEREAS, Highway Superintendent Sharpsteen has advertised for bids for
one new 1974 3-axle Dump Truck for use by the Lansing Highway Department, in accor-
dance with specifications filed in the Town Clerk's Office, and
WHEREAS, Don's Ford, Inc., Horatio Arterial Rte. 12 North, Utica, New York
was the only bidder with a bid of $23,985.00, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, on recommendation of the Highway Superintendent that the bid of
Don's Ford Inc., be and is hereby accepted and the Highway Superintendent be
and he is hereby authorized to complete the purchase of the aforesaid Dump Truck.
