Roll Call Charles Howell Supervisor Present Louis Bush Councilman Present Bert Hilliard Councilman Present Edward LaVigne Councilman Present Lee Naegely Councilman Present Robert Williamson Attorney Present Lloyd Sharpsteen Highway Supt. Present Jane Bush Town Clerk Present Visitors: Deputy Clerk Wanda Brink, Water Supt. James Howell, Zoning and Enforcement Officer Norman Stanton and eight Lansing residents. The Supervisor opened the meeting having the clerk take the roll call. A copy of the minutes of Sept. 11, Sept. 27, Oct. 2, Oct. 18, Oct. 23, Oct. 31., Nov. 8, Nov. 13 and Nov. 28 meetings having been furnished to the members of 'the town board beforehand, the Supervisor asked for a motion to propose correc- tions of errors or to accept same as submitted. f MOTION by Mr. LaVigne and seconded by Mr. Hilliard that the minutes as submitted by the Town Clerk be approved. Carried RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Naegely: WHEREAS the President of the United States has requested the adoption of a fifty mile per hour maximum speed limit, and WHEREAS Governor Rockefeller has requested the State and its municipalities to cooperate in lowering the maximum speed limit to fifty miles per hour NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Lansing hereby requests the Department of Transportation to reduce the maximum speed limit for all town highways and county roads outside of cities and villages within the Town of Lansing, not having a speed limit lower than fifty miles per hour, to fifty miles per hour. Seconded by Louis Bush. RESOLUTION offered by Mr. LaVigne: Carried RESOLVED, that the Federal Revenue Sharing check received October 10, 1973 in the amount of $8,592.00 be allocated: 1) capital expenditures, 2) public transportation, 3) recreation. Seconded by Mr. Hilliard. Carried RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Bush: RESOLVED, that the following transfer be made, and the Supervisor is-hereby authorized to make same: FROM: Contingent Fund A1990.4 to Research A8030.4 $1,450.00 Seconded-by Mr. LaVigne.
