RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Bush:

RESOLVED, that unpaid Sewer Rents for Parcel #47- 34..1.Mobil Oil Company in
the amount of $48.60 and Parcel #46 -2 -6 Im Proum in the amount of $76.95, and
Unpaid Water District #1 bill for Parcel #47 -4 -7 Lansing Terrace Apartments,
Inc. in the amount of $3,854.27, and
Unpaid Water District #2 bill for Parcel #32 -1 -48 Paul Uher in the amount of
$95.53
Be added to the 1973 Tax Roll, which tax becomes due and payable on
January 15 1974.

AUDIT RESOLUTION.offered by Mr. Hilliard:
RESOLVED, that General Fund bills #378 through #447 totalling $10,260.20
and Highway Fund bills #230through #249 totalling $14,023.69be and the same
hereby approved for payment, and be it further
RESOLVED, that Water District #1 and Water District #2 bills be and the.same
are hereby approved for payment.

The Lansing Town Board met in an adjourned:meeting at 8 P.M. to conduct a
Public Hearing on the proposed planned area development project, known as Lake
wood Meadows and consider any and all business that may come before said board.
Said meeting..adjourned from the Regular Meeting held November 13,1973•

Visitors: Zoning and Enforcement Officer Norman Stanton and approximately
six Lansing Residents.
The Supervisor opened the meeting having the clerk take the roll call.
Proof of Notice having been furnished, the Public Hearing on the proposed
planned area development project, known as Lakewood Meadows, was called to
order at 8 P.M. by Supervisor Charles Howell. Zoning Officer Norman Stanton
made the presentation of plans submitted for the proposed Lakewood Meadows
Project. Mr. Stanton stated that the plans conformed to the Zoning Ordinance
! in every detail.
All persons desiring to be heard, having been heard, and no objections
being made to said proposed project, the hearing was terminated.
The Town ''Board discussed the Public Hearing just held. It was the con-
! sensus of the board, inasmuch as the Lansing.Planning Board had submitted
approval, together with the approval of the Lansing Zoning Officer, to act on
the following resolution:

WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held on the proposed project in the
Planned Development Area known as Lakewood Meadows, after notice as required by
`law, and
WHEREAS discussion was had concerning said project, and
WHEREAS, no persons appeared objecting thereto, now therefore be it

A letter was received and read from the Triphammer Interchange Association
regarding the proposed construction by the New York State Department of Transpor-
tation of an overpass elevating Triphammer Road over N.Y.S. Rte. 13 in the Town of
Lansing. Attorney Richard Thaler also appeared before the board concerning the
proposed overpass. Discussion held by the board, following resolution offered:
RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Bush:
N.Y.S. ROUTE 13 - TRIPHAMMER ROAD INTERCHANGE
WHEREAS, the members of this board have recently been advised of the proposed,
construction by the New York State Department of Transportation of an overpass
elevating Triphammer Road over New York State Route 13 in the Town of Lansing, Tomp-
kins County, New York, and
WHEREAS, no recent public hearing was held on said proposal nor any official
communication made with this board or with representatives of this municipality
by the State District Engineer's Office concerning such construction, and
WHEREAS, the District Engineer. has advised that he is relying upon a public
hearing held on February 21, 1957 to justify his proceeding with such construc-
tion, and
WHEREAS, the members of this board are concerned that the proposed construction
as set forth in the plans of the New York State Department of Transportation will
create a hazard to health, and safety of those using the intersection and will create
an undue burden upon the local governmental authorities and that such structure in
its present design will also create an adverse environmental impact upon the surround-
ing areas; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that this board hereby approves in principal the erection of an over-
pass structure at the intersection of New York State Route 13 and Triphammer Road in
the Town of Lansing, Tompkins County, New York, but disapproves the present design
of said overpass and this board urges all necessary steps be taken to delay the
award of bids and /or the construction of said structure and that the Department of
Transportation in conjunction with this board and its representatives proceed with
all possible haste to review the problems with the intersection of Triphammer Road
and New York State Route 13 and arrive at an agreeable solution prior to any con-
struction being commenced, and
RESOLVED, further, that the Clerk of this board is hereby authorized and
directed to forward certified copies of this Resolution to Hon. Jacob K. Javits,
United States Senator; Hon. Howard Robison, United States Congressman; Hon.
William Walsh, United States Congressman; Hon. William Smith, New York State
Senator; Hon. Constance Cook, Assemblywoman; Mr. R.R. Bartelsmeyer, Deputy Admin-
istrator, U.S. Department of Transportation; Commissioner Raymond T. Schuler of
the New York State Department of Transportation,
RESOLVED, further, that the Clerk of this board in transmitting said Resolu-
tion to the Department of Transportation, request a reply within thirty days.
Seconded by Mr. Naegely.
The adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly put to a vote, and upon
roll call, the vote was as follows:
