The Supervisor submitted his monthly report.
AUDIT RESOLUTION offered by-Mr. LaVigne:
RESOLVED, that General Fund bills #308 through #337 totalling $12,949.54 and
Highway Fund bills #185 through #204 totalling $9,099.43 be and the same are
hereby approved for payment., and be it further
RESOLVED, that Water District #1 and Water D istrict #2 bills be and the same
are hereby approved for payment.

WHEREAS. a map and plan have been duly
repared in such ttianner and in such detail as has
eretofore been determined by the Town Board of
the Town of Lansing, Tompkins County. New
York, relating ' to a certain . proposed
improvement to I be constructed fort Water
District No. I and for the McKinnev Water
District of the Town of Lansing. Tompkins
County, New York: and . . I -
WHEREAS. the; map, plan and report.for such
proposed improvement together with an estimate
of the cost thereof have been prepared by Lozier
Engineers, Inc..[ competent engine i duly
licensed by the State of New York: and
WHEREAS. such map, plan and report,provide
for the furnishing of a comprehensivg water
improvement including a - water treatment plant,
t©osmission main and pump. station I for an
intermun(cipal 4ater supply facility' for the
Towns at Dryden, Ithaca and Lansing, and the
Village of Ca }vgga Heights. in Tompkins County.
New York. and for the joint use and operation by
the said four municipalities pursuant to 6n
agreement of municipal cooperationi to• be
entered into bs and between the said Village and
said Toays pursuant to Article 5-G of the General
Municipal Law: and'

ORDERED. that the Town Board of the Town

meet andlhold a public hearing at the Town Hall
in said Town on the 27th day of September, 1973.

The Lansing Town Board held a Special
Meeting on September 27, 1973 at 8 P.M. to
hold a Public Hearing in the Matter of the
Increase and Improvement of Facilities of
Water District No. 1 and of the McKinney
Water District of the Town of Lansing.

Proof of notice having been furnished,
the Public Hearing on the Increase and
Improvement of Facilities of Water Dist,
#1 and of the McKinney Water Dist. of the
.Town of Lansing was called to order by
Supervisor Howell at 8:00 P.M.
No one appeared vocing any'objection
to the proposed project.
It was brought out that the total
cost of the project was incorrect and a
new hearing would have to be held.
All persons desiring to be heard,
Iwas having been heard, the Public Hearing
i terminated at 8:45 P.M.

On September 28, 1973 at 4 P.M., at the Lansing Town Hall, bids were publicly
opened for used steel plate and used railroad rails to be used for the construction
of a bulkhead at the boat basin at Lansing Park. Bids also for construction of same.
One bid received. each:
