MARCH 28, 1973
The Lansing Town Board held a Special Meeting on March 28, 1973 at 8 P.M. for
the purpose of considering any and all matters which will come before said board.

The Supervisor called the meeting to order having the clerk take the
roll call.
The board discussed in detail, the estimated cost for the proposed
acquisition and construction on behalf of Lansing Water District #1, of
additional facilities therefor and appurtenances thereto, including acquisition
of additional water lines, water supply improvements, water tank owned by
0 Cornell University and new line under Rte. 13, including necessary acquisition
of additional interests in rents through easements under which a portion of
said water mains are to be constructed and acquired. Following discussion,
Order for meeting to be held May 8, 1973 at 8 P.M. to Consider Increase In
Facilities - Lansing Water District No. 1, was adopted by the Town Board.
Said Order attached hereto and made a part thereof.
RESOLUTION offered by Mr. LaVigne:
RESOLVED, that the Town Engineer and Town Attorney be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to prepare formal application to the Department of
Environmental Conservation for water supply and stream protection for additional
supply for Water D istrict No. 1.

Engineer to prepare necessary plans and specifications and appear at necessary
hearings in conjunction with construction of additional facilities and'
acquisitions of existing facilities for Lansing Water District No. 1.

RESOLVED, that Engineer T.G. Miller be retained to ascertain all possible
problems in connection with connecting the Industrial Park Plants and additional
commercial and residental facilities to the Cayuga Heights Sewer System,
including the necessary studies therefor and attendance at necessary meetings
with official municipal bodies.
