HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-01-30JANUARY 16, 1973 The Lansing Town Board held a Special Meeting at 8 P.M. for the purpose of considering a Hearing Date for the Public Hearing on the Proposed Lansing Zoning Ordinance. ROLL CALL Charles Howell Supervisor Present Louis Bush Councilman Present Bert Hilliard Councilman Present Edward LaVigne Councilman Present Lee Naegely Councilman Present Robert Williamson Town Attorney Present Jane Bushn Town Clerk Present Visitors: James Showacre, Mrs. Viola Miller, Louise Barr, John Barney, Samuel Baughman and Walter Schwan. The Supevisor called the meeting to order at 8 P.M. having the clerk take the roll call. The Proposed Lansing Zoning Ordinance prepared by the Lansing Zoning Commission with the assistance of Egner & Niederkown Associates, Inc., was discussed. Following Resolution then offered*,, RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Naegely: RESOLVED, that a Public Hearing be held by the Town Board of the Town of Lansing on the proposed Zoning Ordinance,,on the 2nd day of February 1973 at 8:00 P.M. in the evening thereof, in the South Lansing Town Hall, South Lansing, New York. Seconded by Mr. LaVigne. Unanimously carried. On motion, meeting adjourned 9 :30 P.M. JANUARY 30, 1973 The Lansing Town Board met in Executive Session on January 30, 1973, as called by the Supervisor at the meeting of January 9, 1973, for the purpose of auditing the Town Records and Justice Records for the year of 1972. Present Louis Bush Councilman Present Bert Hilliard Councilman, Present Edward LaVigne Councilman...- Absent Lee Naegely Councilman Present Jane Bush Town Clerk Present Town Justice Floyd Ferris, Town Justice Frederick.Spry and Lansing County Representative Harris B. Dates were present. Supervisor Charles Howell called the meeting to order at 8 P.M.having the clerk take the roll call. Audit was made of the records of Justice Floyd Ferris. January 1, 1972 showed a bank balance of $150.00, ending with a bank balance as of December 31, 1972 in the amount of $435.00. Debits and credits for the 1972 year were examined and verified. Audit was made of the records of Justice Frederick Spry. January 1, 1972 showed a bank balance of 3,439.03, ending with a bank balance as of December 319 1972 in the amount of $6,956.43. Debits and credits for the 1972 year were examined and verified. The Lansing General Fund, Highway Fund, Agency and Trust Fund and Special District accounts were examined. Transactions confirmed and bank balances verified. Special District Tax Rolls were reviewed by the Town Board. On motion, meeting adjourned 10:10 P.M.
