The majority opinion of the board was to assist all town organizations in developing the land for their use. A Proposed Local Law Regulating Signs was discussed. Further review and study to be taken up at June 11th meeting. Supervisor reported that his monthly report would be mailed. AUDIT RESOLUTION by Mr. LaVigne: RESOLVED, that General Fund bills #99 through #137 totalling $77,911.43 and Highway bills #89 through #107 totalling $p21,484 *39 be and the same are hereby approved for payment, and be it further RESOLVED, that Water Dist. #1 and Water Dist. #2 bills be and the same are hereby approved for payment. May 5, 1971 TOWN OF LANSING TOMPKINS COUNTY, NEW YORK SANITARY SEWERAGE COLLECTION. SYSTEM PUMPING STATION, AND FORCE MAIN LANSING SEWER DISTRICT NO.2 ADVERTISEMENT Sealed proposals for the construction of a sanitary sewerage collection system, pumping station and force main will be received by the Town Clerk at the Lansing Town Hall, Route 34, Auburn Road, South Lansing, 'New. York, until 2:00 P.m., E.D.S.T. Thursday, May 20, 1971 and will then be publicly opened and read. The work to be done under this project includes the construction of approximately 10,650 feet of 8 inch and 10 inch sanitary sewer mains, 565 feet of 6 inch force main and an underground sewage pumping station, all together !with the usual appurtenances and other incidental and related work. The Plans and specifications may be inspected at the Lansing Town Hall as mentioned above and at the office of Thomas G. Miller, Consulting Engineer „203 North Aurora Street, Ithaca, New York. Copies of said Contract Documents may be obtained from the Town Clerk,, at the Lansing Town Hall, Route 34, Auburn Road, South Lansing,' New York, upon payment of Twenty Dollars, ($20) for each set. The full amount of payment will be returned to all prime bidders if said Contract Documents are returned to the Town Clerk's Office in good condition within fifteen (15) days after the award of the Contract. All proposals must be made on the official proposal forms, and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the Town of Lansing, New York, in the amount of 5 per cent of bid total. ; All such bid securities will be returned upon the execution of the Contract and furnishing of required Surety Bonds by the successful bidders, but in no 'case will the checks of unsuccessful bidders be held longer than sixty days after receipt of bids.
