The Lansing Town Board held a Special Meeting on April 4, 1970 at 9 A.M. as called
by the Supervisor.

The Board discussed the bids received March 31, 1970 on the 1970 Cab & Chassis,
1970 Four Door Sedan end the Dump Body. After discussion the following resolutions
were offered:
Mr. Bush offered the following resolution and moved its adoption.
WHEREAS, Highway Superintendent Sharpsteen has advertised for bids for one
new 1970 Cab & Chassis, in accordance with specifications filed in the Town Clerk's
Office; and
WHEREAS, Cayuga Motors Sales Corporation, Ithaca, New York with a bid of
$11,787 is the loitest responsible bidder, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, upon recommendation of the Highway Superintendent, that said bid. of
Cayuga Motors Sales Corporation be and the same hereby is accepted and the Superint-
endent be and he hereby is authorized to complete the purchase of the aforesaid
Cab & Chassis,

Mr. Naegely offered the -following resolution -and moved its adoption:
1.41HEREAS, Highway Superintendent Sha.rpsteen has advertised for bids for one new
Four Door Sedan, in accordance with specifications filed in the Town Clerk's Office;
and
WHEREAS, Erie J. Miller, Inc., Ithaca, New York.with a bid. of $2,365.73 is the
lowest{ responsible bidder, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, upon recommendation of the highway Superintendent, that said bid of
Erie J. Miller, Inc, be and the same hereby is accepted and the Superintendent be
end he hereby is authorized to complete the purchase of the aforesaid Car.
Seconded. by Mr. Bushe

Mr. LaVigne offered the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLVED that all'bids received for Dump Body be rejected and said Dump Body to
be advertised with specifications including said Dump Body be mounted on chassis,
painted and option on trade -in of used DiUmp Body.
Seconded by Mr. Naegely.

STEEL SHEET PILE WALL
LANSING PARK MARINA
Sealed proposals for supplying and►orinstalling
steel sheet piling at the Lansing Park Marina will
be received by the Town Clerk at Lansing Town
Hall, Route 34, Auburn Road, South Lansing, New .
York until.5:00;p;m.,- E:S.T.; Wednesday, April 8,
1970 and will then be publicly opened and read.
The work consists of supplying andAr installing
steel sheet piling in 20 foot lengths for a
freestanding straight bulkhead 'wall of
approximately 220 feet total length.
The plan and specifications may be inspected at
the Lansing Town Hall as mentioned above and at
the office of Thomas G. Miller, Consulting
Engineer, 203 North Aurora Street, Ithaca, New
York. Copies of said Contract Documents may be
obtained from the Town Clerk at the Lansing
Town Hall, Route 34, Auburn Road, South
Lansing, New York.
All proposals must be made on-the official
proposal form, and be accompanied by a',certified
check or satisfactory bid bond, payable to the
Town of Lansing; New York in the amount of 5
per cent of bid total.
All such bid securities will be returned upon the
execution of .the Contract and furnishing of
required Surety Bond bythe successful bidders.
but in no case will the checks of unspccessful
bidders • be- held -' longer- 'than- sixty-days -after
receiptofbtiids.
Ttle,Lansing Town Board reserves the right to
reject,at1_iids; -or to reject any bid because of
informality.
