HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-11-1040 Continued November 6, 1969 RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Spry: WHEREAS, the assessors filed an assessment roll for the Town of Lansing Sewer District #2 on and before September 15, 1969, and WHEREAS, after proper notice a Public Hearing was held bn November 6, 19691 and all persons desiring to be heard, having been heard and no one appearing object- ing to said Sewer District #2 Assessment Roll -, now therefore be it RESOLVED that the Assessment Roll as prepared be'fil•ed for Lansing Sewer District #2 and the same is hereby approved, "affirmed and adopted pursuant to Section 239 of the Town Law for the year 1970, 'arid be it further RESOLVED that the formula used for the basis of extending the Assessment-Roll for Lansing Sewer District 32 for the year 1970 be: Assessed Valuation Charge: $2.25 per $1,000 assessment land and buildings. Unit Charge: $31.89 per living unit. 40 and the same is hereby affirmed and adopted by the Town Board. Seconded by Mr. Ferris. Following discussion, the Clerk instructed to write the Highway Association with the following alterations to the proposals submitted by the Town Board on October 31st, Under VII. SICK LEAVE: to be added to the present agreement, "A maximum of four of the twelve days sick leave per year may be used, if prior approval is given by the department head, for personal business." When using sick leave for personal business, one -half day will be the minimum time allowed at any one time. Hourly rates as follows: ® The ME,O now receiving $2.95 per hour to be raised to $3.40 per hour. Meeting adjourned 9:30 P.M. 1 11 l November 13, 1969 Supervisor Dates called a Special Meeting at 5:1.5 P.M. in regard to the acceptance by the Town of Uptown Road. All members were duly - notified. The following resolution was offered: RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Kidney: WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has approved the construction of a road over lands of Cornell University extending westerly from Warren Road along the North boundary of the Town of Ithaca, said road being 60' in width, now therefore be it RESOLVED, that this road be accepted provided it is dedicated free and clear of all encumbrances and conditions except utility easements, and be it further RESOLVED this road to be known as Uptown Road.
