RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Spry:
WHEREAS, the assessors filed an assessment roll for the Town of Lansing Sewer
District #2 on and before September 15, 1969, and
WHEREAS, after proper notice a Public Hearing was held bn November 6, 19691
and all persons desiring to be heard, having been heard and no one appearing object-
ing to said Sewer District #2 Assessment Roll -, now therefore be it
RESOLVED that the Assessment Roll as prepared be'fil•ed for Lansing Sewer
District #2 and the same is hereby approved, "affirmed and adopted pursuant to
Section 239 of the Town Law for the year 1970, 'arid be it further
RESOLVED that the formula used for the basis of extending the Assessment-Roll
for Lansing Sewer District 32 for the year 1970 be:
Assessed Valuation Charge: $2.25 per $1,000 assessment land and buildings.
Unit Charge: $31.89 per living unit. 40
and the same is hereby affirmed and adopted by the Town Board.

Councilman Howell stated that he was in•favor of the full assessed valuation
of parcels being shown on tax - bills -in addition to-the assessed valuation figure
used for tax computation purposes.
Due to Veteran's Day falling on-the 2nd Tuesday in November, the Regular
Town Board Meeting for November will be held the 3rd Tuesday, November 18th.

The Lansing Town Board met. in Special Session on November 10, 1969 at 8 P.M.
at the Lansing Town Hall. Said meeting called. by the Supervisor as per meeting
of October 21st to meet with the Representative of -the Lansing Highway Association
to discuss negotiations for a 1970 Agreement between the Town of Lansing and the
Lansing Highway Association.,

Representative 0str9.rder submitted a second request for five additional paid
holidays to be added to the present contract; also a request for 1 day a month per
year for personal business in addition to the sick -leave clause; a 400 an hour
blanket raise plus 5¢ increment; and the MEO now receiving $2.95 per hour moved
up to the MEO now receiving $3.15 per hour after ten years of consecutive service.
Following discussion, the Clerk instructed to write the Highway Association
with the following alterations to the proposals submitted by the Town Board on
October 31st,
Under VII. SICK LEAVE: to be added to the present agreement, "A maximum of
four of the twelve days sick leave per year may be used, if prior approval is given
by the department head, for personal business." When using sick leave for personal
business, one -half day will be the minimum time allowed at any one time.
Hourly rates as follows:
® The ME,O now receiving $2.95 per hour to be raised to $3.40 per hour.

Supervisor Dates called a Special Meeting at 5:1.5 P.M. in regard to the
acceptance by the Town of Uptown Road. All members were duly - notified.

Discussion held on the Town accepting Uptown Road as a town road.
The following resolution was offered:
RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Kidney:
WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has approved the construction of a
road over lands of Cornell University extending westerly from Warren Road along
the North boundary of the Town of Ithaca, said road being 60' in width, now
therefore be it
RESOLVED, that this road be accepted provided it is dedicated free and clear
of all encumbrances and conditions except utility easements, and be it further
RESOLVED this road to be known as Uptown Road.
