All Board Members were duly notified of said meeting. Harris B. Bush Clerk Present General business matters concerning the Lansing Town Park and the Highway Department were informally discussed by the members of the board. No official action was taken by the Town Board at this time. 1967 I•Ieeting adjourned at 9:40 P .M v J December 19, 1967 The Lansing Town Board met in regular session at the South Lansing Town Hall on December 19, 1967 at 8 P.M. with Supervisor Dates presiding. Murray Oliver Holden Robert Williamson Jane Bush Roll Call Supervisor Present Councilman Present Justice Present Councilman Present Justice Present Assessor Chairman Present Assessor Present Assessor Present Attorney Present Clerk Present Visitors: Reporter Patricia Nordheimer, James Howell, Milton Case, Carl Teeter, James Showacre, Robert Wickens, Milton Jordon, Wiley Sutphin, I MOTION by Mr. Spry and seconded by Mr. Kidney that the minutes of the November 21st and November 30th meetings as submitted by the Town Clerk be approved. Carried Milton Case, representative for the Town of Lansing Highway Association, presented the Board a letter drafted by the Association. Supervisor Dates accepted same, stating that the Board would meet without delay to act on negotiations. MOTION was made by Mr. Spry and seconded by Mr. Ferris that when the final agreement was made, it would be retroactive to Jan. 1, 19680 Carried Messrs. Wickens, Holden and Jordon discussed with the Board and Water Superintendent Howell the progress to date on Water District #2 and plans for LeRoy Ave. The Health Department approval has been obtained and'it was suggested that the Committee discuss with Cbunty Highway Superintendent Stevenson his plans on new road construction in the Water District area. After discussion, the following resolution was offered: WHEREAS, in Lansing Water District #2 there exists an emergency situation in that water pipes need to be purchased and installed on LeRoy Avenue in said district prior to the severe winter weather, and WHEREAS, the persons residing on said Avenue are in great need of public water, now therefore on MOTION made by Mr. Howell and seconded by Mr. Ferris, it is RESOLVED that an emergency exists in said District on LeRoy Ave. In that persons residing on said street are in dire need of water, and pipes need to be purchased and installed prior to severe winter weather, and be it further
