The Lansing Town Board met in an adjourned meeting as called
by Resolution at the adjournment of the October 5th meeting. The
meeting was held at the Lansing Town Hall at 8 P.M. with Supervisor
Dates presiding.

The Supervisor introduced Milton Jordon who requested the Board
to relate the progress to date regarding Water District #2. A general
discussion was held on said district.
MOTION was made by Mr. Ferris and seconded by Mr. Spry that
Mrs. Judy Barron be appointed as an alternate Republican inspector
for the 4th District for the term of July 15, 1967 to,July 15, 19680

The Town Clerk presented to the Board, a request and rough draft
from Robert J. Woods for a license to build a Mobile Home Park.
After discussion of same,
Mr. Howell'offered the following resolution:
A
RESOLVED that a license be issued to Mr. Robert J. Woods when
all regulations are met according to the Trailer Ordinance previously
adopted by this Board.
Seconded by Mr. Spry

Assessor Chairman Kenneth Tarbell spoke of the assessment
lawsuit which is pending against the town filed by Bolton and
Wilkinson.
Supervisor Dates presented his monthly report and explained same
in detail,
AUDIT RESOLUTION by Mr. Spry and seconded by Mr, Ferris:
RESOLVED that General Fund bills #229 thro #245 totalling $4,730.41
and Highway Fund bills #273 thro #307 totalling $ 14,170.71.
and the same are hereby approved for payment.

Supervisor Dates announced to the Board that the budget for the
next ensuing fiscal year must be prepared at this time. The budget
estimates filed were gone over in detail and considerable study was
made on the Highway budget. Following the completion of the
preliminary budget it was ready for adoption and the date of hearing
set thereon.

FURTHER RESOLVED, that such preliminary budget shall be filed
in the office of the Town Clerk where it shall be available for
inspection by any interested persons at all reasonable hours, and be it

9th day of November 1967, for the purpose of holding a public hearing
upon such preliminary budget, and be it

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the preliminary budget of the Town of
Lansing, Tompkins County, New York for the fiscal year beginning Jan-
uary 1, 1968, has been completed and filed in the office of the Town
Clerk of said Town at South Lansing in said Town, where it is available
for inspectionby any interested person at all reasonable hours.

public hearing thereon at 8:00 P.M. on the 9th day of November 1967,

Highway Superintendent and Jane Bush, Town Clerk, opened bids for a
new Snow Plow Truck Attachments and Wing, as advertised in the Ithaca
Journal.
