Consulting Engineer and Jane C. Bush, Clerk, publicly
construction of a Water Storage Reservoir for Lansing
located on North Triphammer Road east of the Oakcrest

All proposals must be made on the
official proposal forms, and be ac-
companied by a certified check or
satisfactory bid bond, payable to the
Town of Lansing, New York in the
amount of 5 % of bid total.
All such bid securities will be re- '
turned upon the execution of the .Con•
tract and furnishing of required Surety
Bond by the successful bidders, but-in
no case will the checks of "unsuccessful
bidders be held longer than sixty dais
after receipt of bids.
The Lansing Town Board reserves !
the right to reject all bids, or to re-

The Supervisor opened the meeting having the Clerk take the Roll Call.
MOTION was made by Mr. Spry and seconded by Mr. Howell that the minutes of the
June 7th and June 14th meetings as submitted by the Town Clerk be approved.

The Supervisor introduced William Robinson, Chairman of the Recreation Commission,
Mr. Robinson gave a summary of,the summer activities, including swimming, girls and
boys baseball programs and wrestling. A full and largely attended program is underway.
Mr. Howell offered the following Resolution and moved its adoption after discussion:

WHEREAS, the Clerk of this Board has duly advertised for bids for a Water
Storage Tank for Lansing Water District #1, and,
WHEREAS, Natgun Corp. of 101 W. Dedham St., Boston,Massachusetts is the lowest
responsible bidder with a bid of $59,980.00 for one 0.5 million gallon Prestressed
Concrete Water Storage Tank to be erected on the Gibbs property together with
incidental and related work, now therefore be it

RESOLVED, on motion made by Mr. Howell and seconded by Mr. Spry that the bid of
Natgun Corp, in the amount of $59,980.00 for one prestressed concrete 500,000 gallon
water storage tank together with incidental and related work be and the same is
hereby accepted and the Supervisor is authorized and directed to complete said
transaction on behalf of the Town.
