HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-05-31Continued May 10, 1966 connecting up.the road, known as Anna Court on said map, with the other proposed dead end roads as shown on the Talandis sub- division dated May 25, 1964 filed with the Town Board; and be it further RESOLVED that it is the Town Policy not to accept any dead end roads in the Talandis sub - division pursuant to Town Board Policy dated March 8, 1966, and be it further RESOLVED that the Town Clerk send Mr. Talandis a copy of said Town Board Policy together witha copy of this resolution. Resolution carried, all present voted Aye. RESOLUTION by Ms. Spry and seconded by Mr. Ferris: RESOLVED that the Supervisor be and hereby is authorized to make the following budgetary transfer: From To Surplus'-F s $100.00 Compensation of Constables $100,00 Resolution carried, all present voted Aye. Supervisor presented his monthly report and explained sane in detail. Filed with Town Clerk. Local Law adopting Rules and Regu- lations for Lansing Water District =I on the 31st day of May 1966 at the Town Hall, Town of Lansing, South - Lansing, New York at 8 O'clock in the I evening thereof. Said Rules and Regulations relate to application for water service, in- �stallation of mains and water service Riggs.,.. _meter installation and water r May 31, 1966 The'Lansing Town Board met in special session at the Lansing Town Hall at 8 P.M. to conduct a Public•Hearing on a proposed Local Law adopting Rules and Regulations for Lansing Water Dist. #1. Said.Public Hearing was set at the May 10, 1966 regular meeting and advertised and posted according to law. ROLL CALL Harris Dates Supervisor Present Fred Spry Justice Present Floyd Ferris Justice Absent James Kidney Councilman Present Charles Howell Councilman Present Donald Sharpsteen Highway Superintendent Present Robert Williamson Attorney Present Jane Bush Clerk Present Visitors: Thomas Miller, Engineer, Lloydt Sharpsteen,-Lansing Citizen's Committee for Water, namely, Arthur Shull, Manley Thaler,' Robert Gibbs, Mrs. Louise Dart, Paul Charton, Carl Winkelbleck and John - Thompson., Approximately 25 persons interesWin the Water District were also present.• - • The Supervisor introduced the Lansing Citizenls Committee for the Water District, after which time he advised the Town Board and visitors that the Public Hearing was now open, instructing the Clerk to read the Notice of Publication of Hearing. Mr. Miller, Engineer was introduced at which time he read the Rules and Regulations regarding water supply for Lansing Water Dist. #1.' Mr. Miller and the Town Board answered and discussed inti detail numerous questions asked by all persons present. r The'Public Hearing was closed at 10:00 P.M., at which time Supervisor Dates thanked the Lansing residents for attending.
