Bush ROLL CALL Supervisor Present Justice Present Justice Present Councilman Present Councilman Absent Highway Superintendent Present Assessor Chairman Present Attorney Present Clerk Present Visitors: Lloyd Sharpsteen, Mrs. Louise Dart and Gary Robinson. The.Supervisor opened the meeting having the clerk take the Roll Call. MOTION was made by Mr. Spry and seconded by Mr. Kidney that the minutes as submitted by the Town.Clerk be approved. Carried Mr. Tarbell reported that Lansing has rejected the Clemi,nshaw reappraisal figures of property for use for tax purposes this year. Open book sessions on the new revaluation of properties will be held in September or early October.. Supervisor Dates reported the progress to date of Lansing Water Dist. #1. Water mains covering Dart Drive, Graham Road and St. Joseph's Lane have been disinfected in accordance with the Tompkins County Health Department's specifications and they have approved same. A brief report was made on the meetings held by the Lansing Citizen's Committee for water. Said committee was drawn from persons living in the water district, their purpose being to set up rules, regulations, establish rate structures, adopt plumbing codes, standards, make suggestions etc. :Atty. Williamson reported that he is working on the condemnation of the Lansing Water Works Corp. to acquire it for the Lansing Water Dist. #1. Letter received and read from Mr. Cayuga Rock Salt, the underground salt the parcel located at the intersection given to Town Atty.-Williamson, Edwin Filmer requesting to secure for rights under the Town barn property and of Peruville Road and Route 34. Letter Letter received and read from Karl D. Butler requesting his land adjacent to Highway #13 and north of it, be included in the proposed Lansing Sewer Dist. #1. Supervisor Dates reported on the progress of the County Sewer Agency and Lansing Water Dist. #2. Discussion held on Youth Recreation Program. It was suggested to amend.the Park Commission, merge same with the Youth Recreation Program and add two,new members to Commission. Meeting to be set up for a future date. Carried, all present voted Aye. Atty. Williamson discussed Junk Yard Ordinance. Will bring a proposed ordinance at next meeting for Town Board consideration. Supervisor presented his monthly report and explained same in detail. Filed with Town Clerk. AUDIT RESOLUTION by Mr. Kidney and seconded by Mr. Spry: RESOLVED, that General Fund bills #42 through #62 totalling $ 3,358.43 and Highway Fund bills #83 through # 118 totalling $209599.26 be and the same are hereby approved for payment. Resolution carried, all present Meeting adjourned 9:30 P.M. voted Aye.
