HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-12-28• • December 28, 1965 The Lansing Town Board met in an adjourned meeting as called by the Supervisor at the adjournment of the December 14th meeting. The meeting was held at the South Lansing Town Hall at 7:30 P.M. with Supervisor Dates presiding. ROLL CALL Harris B. Dates Supervisor Present Fred Spry Justice Present Floyd Ferris Justice Present Charles Howell Councilman Present James Kidney Councilman Present Robert Williamson Attorney Present Jane Bush Clerk Present The Supervisor opened the meeting having the Clerk take the roll call. A thorough study and discussion was held on the Lansing Water Works Corporation concerning the possibility of the purchase of same. The Supervisor read a letter from Mr. Karl Butler concerning the proposed construction of a continuation of Graham Road through the Snyder Farm which lays to the west of Triphammer Road, After the matter was discussed, the Board authorized the Supervisor to advise Mr. Butler that if the continuation of Graham Road commencing at Triphammer Road and continuing to its intersection with either Oakcrest Road, or another public highway is built in its entirety according to town specifications, then, in that event, it will be the intent of the Town Board to accept same as a town highway. After a discussion was held on the salaries of the highway personnel, the following action was taken: RESOLUTION by Mr. Kidney and seconded by Mr. Howell: RESOLVED that the Highway Superintendent be authorized to pay up to a 5% increase on the salary of each highway employee. Carried all present voted Aye. Meeting adjourned at 9:10 P.M. �.� Clerk 04
