Charles Howell Councilman. Fres:+,
Visitors: Howard Stevenson, Fred Ginsler, Clayton Bradley.

Approved. Nov. 11, regular, Dec. 2, special
The Clerk presented bills.
Motion by Mr. Ferris, seconded by Mr. Kidney:
That the bills numbered from 193 thru 202 as listed in the record of Town
accounts be paid as audited.
Carried, all voted Aye.
Visitors Howard Stevenson and Fred Ginsler asked questions regarding the
Sewer disposal study for the South end of the Town of Lansing,
Supervisor Dates advised them that Mr. Jim Me Wain, Engineer would be in
attendance soon as he had been delayed.
At this time Mr. J. Me Wain of O'Brien and Gere, Consulting Engineer's,
Syracuse, N. Y., arrived to present his proposal as requested at the Dec. 2
meeting.
Supervisor Dates introduced him stating he would answer any questions before
presenting his proposal.
Mr. Me Wain informed the Board that he had contacted the County Health Depart.
ment and they would not approve anything as an immediate solution which would
include the motel as the present plant of Talandis is up to capacity,
This leaves the Town options to solve this,
No. 1. Make application to the State for a comprehensive study fully paid
for by the state but time was the element as it would take approximately 1 year
to get the funds allocated.
No. 2. Undertake a study of that portion of the Town at a cost fully paid
by the Town.
No. 3. A study of the South side of Town paid byTTown, other part of Town
paid by_State,
Mr. Kidney asked if the Health Department had signified just what they want.
He stated that the Health Department wants sewage disposal studied for all of
this area dwellings as well as .business development. If Town is going to do it-
do South end of Town at once or wait a year to get funds from State. A quick
answer to this problem for the South end of Town is to obtain an engineer to make
this study and submit it to Health Department for approval.
Mr. Mc Wain read his proposal for this study
filing a copy to be attached to the minutes.
Cost of this study is $2,500.00,
