Supervisor Dates presiding for regular business, also to complete the Adoption of the Preliminary Budget as-adjourned from October 7, 1963. Supt. Present Clerk Present Clerk took the roll, two members absent. The Supervisor opened the meeting by having Clerk read minutes of September 9, regular, and October 5 and 7, special meetings. No corrections. Approved. The Clerk presented bills. Motion by Mr. Howell, seconded by Mr. Spry: That the bills numbered 4 from 128 thru 146 as listed in the record of Town accounts be paid as audited. Carried, all members present voted Aye. The Supervisor then took up the Adoption of the Preliminary Budget as adjourned from October 7, 19630 Resolved by Mr. Spry, seconded by Mr. Howell: RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby prepare and approve as the preliminary budget of this Town for the fiscal year beginning on the 1st day of January, 1964, the itemized statement of estimated revenues and expenditures hereto attached and made a part of this resolution, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that such preliminary budget shall be filed in the office of the Town Clerk where it shall be available for inspection by any interested person at all reasonable hours, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that this, Board shall meet at 8 :00 o'clock P. M. on the 7th day of November, 1963, for the purpose of holding a public hearing upon such preliminary budget, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk give notice of such public hearing in the manner provided in Section 113 of the Town Law, and that such notice be published and posted in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF HEARING UPON PRELIMINARY BUDGET Notice is hereby given•that6 the preliminary budget of the Town of Lansing for the fiscal year beginning January 1st, 1964, has been cadpleted and filed in the office of the Town Clerk, at South Lansing, New York, where it is available for inspection by any interested person at all reason. able hours. Further notice,is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Lansing will-meet-and review said preliminary budget and hold a public hear- ing thereon, at the Town Hall at 8:00 o'clock P. M. on the 7th day of November, 1963, and that at such hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against the preliminary budget as compiled,or for or against any item or items therein contained. Pursuant to Section 113 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following town officers are hereby specified as follows; i October 14, 1963, cont'd. The Supervisor brought up.as the next order of business the invitation of an engineer fro from Syracuse to come to a•Board meeting set up to study sewage disposal in general. Motion by Mr. Howell seconded by Mr. Spry : That an engineer from Syracuse be invited to attend a Board meeting Sat. October .26, 63, 10 :00 A. M. at sown Hall 6o Lansing, N. Y. to advise and explain sewage disposal in general for Towns. Carried all members present voted Aye. The Supervisor and Hy. Jupt. brought up the subject of use of Graham road from Triphammer north th Gas and electric substation . The Shopping plaza is now pushing their parking.lot and walks over into the Town Road right of wady and the road should be posted. Discussion: Motion by Mr. Spry seconded by Mr. Howell e. That the Highway Superintendent be direct5d to post the south e5.�of Graham Road from N:-Y^ State Electric and Gas C.o >. ubstation to Triphammer Road as no Parking or standing in accordance with the Highway Law. Carried all present voted Aye. The Supervisor p esented his monthly report explaining same in detail end filing same with the Clerk.
