The Clerk called the Board's attention to Public Notice he received from Water Resources Commission regarding reopening of request of Glenside Water Corp. for extension of time.to install water distribution at Estys. ®�j 0. " 20, 1963, Cont'd. Jtilji� � . Supervisor read copy of Letter sent to Frank Ligouri, Sanitary Engineer, Tompkins Co. Health Dept. from Air Polution Control Board, Albany, in regard to what had .been done to date on pending air polution investigating Cayuga Crushed Stone and General Crushed Stone Co., Letter filed with the 6lerk. Park Business: Councilman Howell presented a set of plans and specifications as drawn by Mr. Edward La Vigne for the construction of a Bath House at the Town Park at Myers, N.Y. Discussion, Mr. Howell was asked if Mr. La Vigne ,could be present to explain in detail the plans. He was called and came. Mr. La Vigne explained the construction of the building which is 24 X 40, built, on a slab with independent bearing piers which were to go.below:frost, 4 concrete blocks above ground, wood structure above that, toilet and la'uatory on each end, one end Ladies,. other Gents, with a concession area in center. A number of questions were asked and explained. Mr. La Vigne.then explained the specifications by going over each step. Questions - answered, also some suggested changes which Mr. LaVigne consented to and was to write in specifications. After a lengthy discussion: Mr. Howell suggested that it be advertised for bids as soon.as possible as Mr. Ligouri of the Tompkins County Health Dept. had advised him that unless a Beach House was provided, he would have to shut down the Swimming Program operated there under the Youth Program. Resolution by Mr.. Howell, seconded by Mr. Kidney. Resolved, that the Town Clerk be authorized to advertise for bids on the building of a beach house at Lansing Park at Myers, N.Y., Atty. Williamson to review plans and specifications and if approved by him to advertise. 'Plans and specifications to be had at the office of the Town Clerk, A deposit of $25.00 for each set, this to be refunded after bids have been awarded. The right is expressly reserved to reject any or all bids. Bids to be publicly opendd Aug. 12, 63 8:30 Town Hall, So. Lansing, N.Y. at 8:30 P. M. Carried all voted Aye. Resolution by Mr. Spry, Seconded by Mr. Howell: That a fee of 8% of.the accepted bubd for constructing Beach House at Lansing Park at Myers, N.Y. be paid Mr. Edward La Vigne to act as Supervisor of Construction, this fee to be paid at the completion of the building. Carried all voted. Aye. Park Attendant: Resoltion by Mr. Spry, Seconded by Mr. Howell: That Mr. Thomas Marchell of Myers be appointed as Park Attendant at Myers with necessary authority. Carried all 'Voted Aye. Mr. Howell was asked how the piling for docks was progressing. Mr. Howell said Mrs. Ford's pile driver was to start driving piles Sunday. He will be there to show him plans of docks. Adjourned 12:12 P.M.
