The Lansing Town Board met in Special session 9430 A. M. at the office of
the Town Clerk as called by the Supervisor , Board so notified by letter. To
amend Bingo Ordinance as per the General Municipal Law, To Designate polling places ,
appoint inspectors of election and any other business that may need to be,acted
upon

The Supervisor explained that before any License to play Bingo can be issued
the present Ordinance should be ammended as per the General Municipal Law.
Discussion
Resolved by Mr. Howell seconded by Mr. Kidney:
Resolution: That an ordinance to amend the Ordinance Adopted by the Town of
Lansing, Authorizing the conduct of Blbgo by Certain Organizations
for certain purposes in such Town .
The ordinance to permit the conduct of Bingo passed by the Board of
the Town of Lansing on the 5th day of May, 1958 is hereby amended
to.read as follows'

day of July at 8*30 P. M in the eveningthereof on the above attached ordinance
amendment .

The Highway superintendent advised that in order to have the Erwin program
for,1964 the roads would have to be designated now and sent in to �'ounty Highway
Supt. before July 1st.

Discussion:
The Highway 9upt. recommended that the Erwin Roads to be built during 1964 as the
HoldenRoad from DeCamp road to Brown Hill Road a distance of 1 410 mile and the Armastr
Armstrong Road from the peruville Road to the Asbury Road a distance of 8/10 mile .
Resolution by Mr. Kidney seconded by Mr. Ferris:
That Vie AolannRoad and Armstrong Road a total of 1 9 ?10 miles be built under the
Erwin Plan in 1964 and. be it ,
Resolved , that the Plan prepared at the request of this Board for the improvement
of lown•Highways and covering all projeets contemplated by it, pursuant to Article
8 A Highway Law , as filed in the office of the Town Clerk , Town of Lansing, county of
Tompkinson this 22nd day of June , 1963, be and the same is hereby adopted; and be it
further.,
Resolved that copies of such plan be filed in appropriate State and. County Mffices
in accordance with the provisions of Section 220 Article 8 A Highway Law and Clerk to
so certify.

Clerk adcised that the Domestic Relations taw had been Kmmended makeing it
the duty of the Town Board to set the fee f or the furnishing arriage Certificates
instead of the Board of Supervisors.
Motion by rlr. Spry seconded by Mr. Ferris:
That the fee the Clerk is to charge for issueing Marriage Certificates will be
$1.00 for those issued at time marriage License is returned and for Certificates
issued for previous marriages shall be $2.00 and no fee to be charged when requested
for use to show proof to veterans organizations or welfare or Social lecurity
purposes.
Carried all voted Aye.
The Super visor stated that he would need to transfer the sum of $20,000,
from the certificate of deposit account this would need a resolution from the Board
authorizeing him to do so.
Motion by Mr. Spry seconded by Mr. Ferris:
That the Supervisor be authorized to transfer the sum of $20,000. 00 from the certificate
of deposit account to the Highway account.
Carried all voted aye.
