The `' upervisor introduced MrJ Schoenfeld and his Atty. 'harry Hamilton stateing
that they were here to discuss request for the building a road into Mr. Schoenfeld's
proposed development off Triphammer road , this request originally made in Oct.
of 1955 and at that time Board action was favorable . He read letter from Clerk

not permanant location of any building until a thovough engineering study of
thsarea was made and then a permanant map would be available . He would do
all of the engineering study by a competent engineer. This area being adjoining
the No. Triphammer shopping Plaza , a need for dwellings and apartment liveing
seemed adviseable.

Feb. 18, 63 cont'd.
The Supervisor brought, up the subject of the Town Park asking the help of
the Atty. Williamson if possible for the Board to set up a Park Commission
Atty. Williamson explained that the Law was such that a Park District could AJ be set up the same as a Sewer or Water District to acquire ands for Parks
but the Town had already acquired. the Land , the Board would still have to
assume responsibility of operating the park Also an advisory committee could
be appointed but this committee would not have any authority to construct any
Park facilities or handle the financeing of the Park , this was a direct responsibility
of the Town Board.
At this time Lawrence Conlon asked if there was any way the Town could
assist the cemetaries of the Town*, one•in particular the Asbury Cemef ary
the fence was in need of replacement , he believed the associationhad
finances to purchase the fence but would need help to put it up.
Atty. ailliamson stated. the Town Law allowed the Town to spend $500.00 for
the upkeep of any abandoned cemetary and laso on any cemetary that would tarn
over any annuaties it had to the Town The budget included an amount of $500.
for CQmetaries the expenditure and places to use this would be taken up at a
later date. < < •

Buck road Although the Town had worked. it at, times and that if it was to be
