Roll Call Harris Dates Supervisor Pres. Floyd Ferris Justice Pres. Charles Howell ; Councilman Pres. James Kidney Councilman Pres. Fred Spry �.Just,jce Pres. Donald 5�harpsteen Hy. Supt. Pres, Joseph Mc dill Clerk Pres, Helen Gordon of the Ithaca Journal, and about 30 resident visitors. The Supervisor called the adjourned meeting from Hug. 13, to Aug. 20 , to order . Clerk advised all members present. Supervisor asked what action the Board wished to take on the petitions filed at the Aug. 13th meeting Discussion; Justice Spry stated he wished to make a motion before presenting khis motion he wished to state in his remarks that "Lansing is not ready for Manning at this time , a distinction to be made between the need for planning and the Town s readiness. " Motion by Mr. Spry seconded by Mr. Howell: That the Resolution passed June 18, 1902 " To appoint a Planning Board for the Totm of Lansing " be rescinded. . Discussion: Supervisor asked if ready for Question; Supervisor called for aRoll Call Vote Clerk Called Roll: A Yes vote , rescinded , a no vote wouod retain Mr. Spry Yes Mr Howell Yes Mr. Ferris Yes Mr Kidney No Mr. Dates Yes Carried ResolutionQ, rescinded Aug. 20, 62 cont'd The Clerk advised what transpired at the Supreme Court session cause action served.by the New York State Electric and Gas Uorp., on and Hy. Supt. Sharpsteen , in regard to.the closeing add.abandoning on the show The Town "Olerk of Graham road . Action taken by the Adjourned Special Term-'oof the Supreme Court held at the Court House before Judge Simpson , In the matter of the application of New York State Electric and Gas Corp. to show cause on the abandonment of Graham Road, Supreme Court Judge Harold E. Simpson at this meeting brought about an agreement between both parties , which annulled certain parts of the order abandoning Graham Road. That part annulled,to be ; the part of Graham Road extending from North Triphammer Road to the northeastrly property line of land now owned by the New York tate Electric and Gas k'orp., this part to remain a town highway. Further information on this- action may be found by reviewing the Supreme Court Judges decision on file with original order for abandonment . m Mr. Mc Dowell engineef mapping the Town Park at Myers presented first drawing maps explaining same giving out suggestions as to further areas to be developed . The Park being about 40 acres . He explained that as the roads were now in that it was up to the Board as to what future development is to be made and how much time they wished to take to complete the development . Mr. Howell and other members of the Board explained what was hoped to be done in the future . I ` Meeting adjourned
