The Lansing ToUm Board met in Special session called by the Supervisor to meet
with the Architect Mr. Thorne regarding the remodeling of the So. Lansing School'
and any other business that may be brought up Meeting to be held at the Lansing
Highway garage Supervisor Dates presideing.

The Supervisor opened the meeting explaining reason for calling a. special
meeting and that items of business'needed to be acted upon would be brought up
before tslk on the building project.
The Clerk advised his conversation with Delford Barnes regarding dog enumerator
work His son Dan :,could do it with his help as Delford felt he needed someone to
do some of'the walking also to not intefere with his Social Jecirity .
There being no other applicants the following motion was acted upon.
Motion by Mr. Howell seconded. by Mr. Ferris:
That Dan Barnes be appointed dog enumerator for 1962 and Delford Barnes was to
assist him,
Carried all voted Aye.
The �;lerk advised the Board that the bills for election services of
inspectors and other current bills were checked and ready to audit.
As the North Lansing Grange and Lake rRidge He D. Unit had not filled in
an amount for use of their hall for election purposes Supervisor asked the
Board what should be allowed for this service.
Motion by Mr. Howell seconded by Mr. seconded by Mr. Ferris that
That the North Lansing Grange and. Lake "idge H. D. U. be allowed $25.00
each for Election service .
Carried all voted 'dye.
Motion by Mr. Kidney seconded by Mr.. Spry:
That the "bills numbered from 135 thru 170presented by the Clerk and listed iii the
record of Town accounts be paid as audited .
Carried all voted Aye.
The Supervisor called on Mr. Thorne to present to the aBpard his report
on what had been accomplished toward plans for the remodeling of the So. Lansing
School for a Town Office Building,
Mr. Thorne presented to the Board sketches of the floor plan of building as it`
now is with some recommendations and showing where he had drawn space for the vault.
lliscussion Faas had and he further recommended that more detailed plans should be
drawn so as to enable the Board to ask for bids on a heating plant .
Also for wireing in order to have more electrical outlets He recommended that
the roof be checked for any leaks also that'the insulating of the attic space be done
this would save considerable in heating He would meet with the Board at any time
to further discuss plans.
The Board advised him that the next regular meeting would be Mon. Dec. 4, 8:00 P. Me
and if he could have additional drawings readyL at th -2,t time so a heating plant bid
could be advertised for. He advised the Board he would be be able to.
