M. and also to conduct a public hearing on the Preliminary Budget as ordered,by the Bo3r4 at a meeting held October 9th and as advertised and posted by the Town Clerk. Supervisor Dates presideing. Councilman Pres. Justice Pres. Hv. Supt. Pres. Assessor Chr. Pres, Pres. Clerk Pres. The '' upervisor ppened the meeting by at once conducting the hearing on the Preliminary Budget . Requesting the Clerk to .read the Notice of Publication calling the Hearing as directed by the Oct. 9th meeting. The Clerk read the notice and also advised the Board that he had posted notices in 6 places in the Town according to Law.' Clerk distributed copies of the Preliminary Budget and the Supervisor and Board discussed. this at length Those present were asked if any objection to the budget as compiled or any item or items therein. Visitor: !'rs. Helen Howland. No objections to Prelim. Budget as compiled. Resolution by Mr. Howell seconded by Mr. Ferris: Resolved: VJTEREAS; this Town Board has net at the time and place specified in the notice of public hearing on the preliminary budget and heard all persons desireing to be heard thereon, now therefore; be it Resolved, that this Tovm Board does hereby adopt such preliminary budget as originally compiled, as the annual budget of this Town for the fiscal year beginning on the 1st day of January, 1962, and that such budget as so adopted be entered in detail in the minutes:of the proceedings of this Town Board, and be it _ . FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk of this Town sha.l 1 prepare and certify , in duplicate, copies of said annula budget as ad.ppted by this Town Board., togatherwith the estimates, if any adopted pursuant to section 202- a , of Subd. 2, of the Town Law and deliver one copy thereof to the Supervisor of this Town to be presented by him to the Board of Supervisors of this County. Talandis pres. makeing a request for the Tom of Lansing to enter into a. contract with the New York State Electric and Gas Co. to light with one street light a section of North Triphammer Road and Mr. Ta.landis will pay all costs and the amount for the Light each month to the Town. Discussion November 6, 61 cont'd Resolution by Mr. Spry seconded by Mr.. Ferris: Resolved; that pursuant to Section 64 Subdivision 19, of the Toan•Law, that the To,an of Lansing contract with the New York State Electric and Gas Corporation for a street light at the intersection of Triphammer Road and the Lansing Apartment Road for a. term not to exceed 10 years; provided however; that Ambo I, Inc. guarantee payment to the Town of all bills and expenses incurred. for said light throughout the term of said contract, and be it further Resolved that the ''upervisor be and. her'"Ihereby is authorized and directed to execute said contracts with the New York State Electric and Gas Corp. and Ambo I, Inc. on behalf of the Town .Cast to be $55.00 per year. Carried All voted. 'lye. Atty. Williamson presented arid read' a proposed letter to the Lehigh Valley Rail Road in regard to the entrance to the Park at Myers This was discussed and Atty. advised to send it to them Atty. Williamson explained more about the offer of purchase on the Johnson Land adjoining the park at Myers as Mr. Johnson had returned it to his Lawyer for answers to some parts of the purchase offer . This was discussed and these questions answe red and the offer returned to him for signature . Motion by Mr. Howell seconded•by Mr. Kidney: That the Sunervisor bd authorized to transfer the sum of - $'T,500.00 from the general fund to the Highway fund. . Carried all voted Aye.
