The Lansing Town Board. net in regular session 8:00 P. M. at the South Lansing
Fire Hal*ith. Supervisor Dates presideing.

the Supervisor opened the meeting by introduceing visitors and asking for the
minut6s,of the Aug, 7, meeting. Visitors' Jerry Stockton, Merle Bower, W. Payne,
Edward r ilmer.
Clerk read the minutes , �u pervisor asked for any questions no corrections
minutes appr oved .
Supervisor explained that Atty. 4illiamson had checked the Bingo Law and learned
that there might be some changes in the Law at the next Legislature makeing it
more workable for fire companies to hald Bingo at. Carnivals.
The Supervisor asked for a motion to rescind the motion passed,Aug. calling
for a hearing to repeal the Bingo Ordinance in the Town of Lansing.
Discussion:
Jerry Stockton and Merle Bower advise d.thS Board what they had learned at
meetings in lbany and Buffalo from the tate Firemans Associations.
Motion by Mr. Spry seconded. by Mr. Kidney:
That the the motion passed at the August 7 th meeting to hold a hearing on the repeal
of the Bingo Ordinance in the Town of Lansing and nom hearing be held .

Supervisor advised the Board that the Highway Jupt had advertised for bids
on 2 Frink now Plows and bids were to be opened at, 8000 P. M.

Frink Snow Plows
1- Frink , Model 440S _ 8 Guage - one way Plow
with 12' Leveling Wing, P51 -S Hydraulic Unit,
equipped with front mounted pump:
F, 0. B. Clayton, N. Y, $4,190.00
Price for 2 would be $89380.00
This was only bid on Frink Plows as advertised due to resolution
1 - Bid received from Russell Equipment Co., Marcellus N. Y.

wings installed on 260 Brockway Trucks

Re: Snow plow Bids,
Motion'by Mr. Howell seconded by Mr. Kidney
That the bids received on snow plows be turned over to the Highway uperintendent
for further study and be acted upon at the October Board meeting.

Highway superintendent gave his report , stateing that he had started the road
which we were obligated to in the Gima development . `'till working on the creek
road Erwin program nearly comploeted for Erwin inspection.
The Supervisor submitted his report and explained and filed with the Town Glerk .
The Supervisor advised the Board members that the budget program was to come up
in October estimates forms would be given to the Officers before the 20th of Sept.
The Supervisor read letter from Mr. Johnson in regard to the lands adjoining the
Town Park zt Myers which we were negotiating to purchase .
Mr. Howell Chr. of Park committee explained the situation as to the acquireing
of new location for a road entrance and more of the prospects of getting the
Johnson land..
Discussion#
The oupervisor called a special meeting for Mon. Sept 18, 61 at 8 :00 P. M. So.
Lansing Fire Hall to discuss matters about the Park and any other business that
may be brought up. .
Town Clerk presented the bills:

That the bills numbered from 107 thru 116 he listed in the record of Town Accounts
be paid as audited .
