M. at the South Lansing Fire Hall as per published notice Supervisor Dates presideing, Roll Call Harris B. Pres. q'f) Joseph Mc Gill Clerk Pres, r Visitors Mrs. Sarah Bradley Meeting opened by the Supervisor Mrs Bradley invited to place her problem before._, the Board. Mrs Bradley explained that in her work as chairman of the community council clean up committee the garbage cans placed out for roadside waste were being used for personal garbage and Collins has reported some of his customers have cancelled service with him and are useing the cans free of pick up fee and. he advises he will not dump these cans free of charhe any more. Mrs Bradley states that the committee would like to know if there is any way of enforceing the stopping of the personal use of the cans ? Discussion The opinion of the Board is that some arrangement should be made with Collins to pay him for the dumping of the cans l�lso if the committee would contact the Sheriff dept. they might be able to curtail the personal use of the cans. Supervisor called for the minutes of the May, June and July special meeting to be read, Clerk read the minutes of the May 4, June 7, and June 28 and July 1, meetings no correction approved, Letter from State traffic Commission denying the request for speed limit regulation on Dart Road read . Letter paaced on file by Clerk, Letter read from Lansing Central School Dist. Board requesting the Town Board to place on the ballot at next election the question relative to the deiisolution of the school and gospel fund and if voted to dissolve the fund the district would then at the next school meeting put on the question as to what would be done with the money comeing to Lansinrf School 40 iste Discussion No action was taken defferred until the next regular meeting August 8, 60. The question of changeing the name of chickahominy road to farrell road was put before the meeting Discussion: Motion by Mr. Howell seconded by Mr. Kidnay: That the name of Chickahominy road. be changed to Farrell Road as suggested by petition filed in Town Clerk s office . Carried all vo ed Aye. Supervisor Dates presented his monthly report explaining same in detail fileing same with Town Clerk. / Motion by Mr. Kidney seconded by Mr. Howell: That the bills numbered from 83 thru 99 as listed in the record of Town Accounts be paid as audited.
