Joseph Mc Gill Clerk Pres. Atty. Robert Vii1liamson attending Visitors Robert Farrell, Frank 1Jaegley, Dr. Karl Butler, Herbert Robinson, iiarold Davis, Supervisor opened the March regular meeting by requesting the Clerk to read the minutes of the Special meeting an. 23, 60 and reg. Feb. 6th meeting Clerk read the minutes of the above meetings no corrections approved., Supervisor called on Robert Farrell to present his problem to the board. Mr. Farrell presented a petition from the residents of Chichominy Road to have the name changed to either Farrell Road or West Dryden Ror:,.d. Discussion Motion by Mr. Howell seconded by Mr Kidney: That as "this road leads from the�Warren Road to the Dryden Town Line and then thru Token of Dryden to the Asbury %vest Dryden Road the Board would check with the T awn of Dryden to see what name Dryden has on this road and then would change to 'vest Dryden Road or Farrell Ro -ad. Mr. Nae #ley and Dr. Butler were called on next. 2 0�. Carried ft11 present voted Aye. Mr. rIaeoley and Dr. Butler presented letters from a fi.rra of consulting EnGineers K. G. Woodward Associates Webster N. Y. regarding to ahpreliningry survey of an area in the south end of the Town of Lansing bordering at or near Cayuga Heights and Triphammer roads, for the purpose of formin a water district for this area. 11 The cost of'this survey to be $350. and Mr. Naegley end Dr. Butler presented to the Board a request for the appropriation of this amount to make this survey In the event it was found fea.sable to form a water district this amount would be reimbursed to the Town by.the Water District, Discussion R ssolut Non by -1•'r. Kidney seconded by Mr. Ferris: Resolved,' plzrsuant to section 191 A of the Town Law, that the Town Board hereby appropriate the sum' of- $350.00 from the contingent fund to pay for the co -3t of prepare'ing. a 'general map and plans and other necessary information 'for provideing water .facilities in that: portion of the Town of Lansing boarding 'at' or • nearr Cayuga Heights and Triphammer roads; all maps and plans to conform to requirements of Section 192 Of the Town Law and filed with the Town Clerk, This resolution is subject to permissive referendum Roll Call vote. Howell. Resolved that the Pupervisnr is hereby a�athorizedl , and,adirected to execute a contract with Herbert Robinson and. arold Davis for the maintainance of the Town of Lansing Dump for 1960 and that the sum of $324.00 be appropriated from the contingent fund to the item Town Dump, Roll Call: 'Justice Ferris Yes Councilman Howell yes Councilman Kidney yes. Syracuse received read by Supervisor and filed . Motion by Mr. Kidney seconded by Mr.. Ferris: That the bills numbered from 19 thru 30 as listed in record of Town Accounts be paid as audited . Carried all present voted Aye. :Supervisor Dates brought up the matter of appointment nea.ce Trrhich had been tabled at the Jan. 23, special meeting Motion by Tllr. Peace be tabled until the Carried all present voted Aye. 7 Highway Supt. brought up the completeing of the Agreement for expenditure of High- way monies under Sedt. 284 of Hy. aw to be filed with Co. Supt. of Hight,rays, due to.;;the unsatisfactory condition of all roads the Hy. Supt. and Hy. committee recommended holding up on final completion of the above agreement until weather permitted a better chance for decideing what roads to expend money on, Motion by gr Howell seconded by Mr Ferris: That the met�ting adjourn carried 4:20 P.
