Minutes of the -Feb. 7, meeting and Feb. 12, special meeting read no corrections approved. Supervisor Dates called on Mr. Fenner and r. Keim to present their problem. Mr. Fenner stated that they felt something should be done to relieve the water from flowing from sluice onto his fields and also the drifting of snow on the Fenner road If ditches were cleaned and a sluice lowered would correct the water and by taking out hedge on east side of road would help keep road from being diftcd full of snow . The Board and Highway superintendent were in agreement that the ditches should be cleaned on this road . Highway Superintendent 1�harpsteen stated that his intentions were to have with the use of the County Cradeall cleaned the ditches in fall of 1958 but the gradell was not available at that time and the ditches were such that our equipment could not be used . He agreed to do the work on the ditches and correct the sluice as soon a s the weather would permit this spring , and plans would be made for correcting the. snow hazard in 1960 . Robert Terrill, Norton Holden and Paul Sutphin effective as of the first payroll iD pri1 subjectmto approval of Civil Service Commission and employees Retirement System Carried all voted P, yet F Highway superintendent reported when not cindering roads machinery was being repaired getting ready for road work to open also the BrickyarddErwin road had been started , cutting trees and hedge . I'' Mahe 7, contd. ri Mr Ferris reported that the meeting of Mr. Denman , Committe from iansing Eire Companies and himself was held and arrangements were made for the printing of the directories for house numberinz this to be done as soon as the cards were checked and correctedwhere needed rice of numbers were to be checked on and size of numbers decided upon . Mr. Ferris was asked to inspect the Town tuirlp and to contact 1A re ft. Robinson and H. Davis when leveling and covering was necessary. Motion by Mr. Howell and Seconded by Mr. Ferris: That the Town Board after reviewing the Town of Lansing Highway :Policy of building.roads into new developments as passed 'vlay'7, 1956 : Quote. ( Resolved that the policy of the Town of Lansing for building roads for new developments be revised to read as follows: Wt the Developer furnish an easement or deed and secure prior approval of the Town Board before an,y -. road is undertaken. Upon acceptance of a Rosd by the Board the cost shall be divided as follows: The Develpper shall furnish all pipe or Bridges and all gravel, stone or necessary material, material to be-delivered and distributed on the road site. The Town will furnish equipment -and operators to construct the ditches and rough grade subbase and finish grade completed gravel road -, all wort: to be subject to Highway Superintendents specifications. be further interpreted and understood :thaththe developer furnishes ALL MATE -DIALS ,. DELIVERED BY THE DEVELOPER ON THE ROAD SITE and this interpretation will be effevtive from this date on . Carried all voted Aye. Supervisor reported that the deed to the park would be delivered to him soon as jnternational Salt Co. Attorney.wa.s in process of writing the deed . Supervisor appointed Councilaan Howell as chairman of Park Committee and he is to select six residents from the Town to act as a committee with him and to present their names at the next Board meeting April 4,59 Supervisor Dates presented his monthly report which consisted of a resumee of business done in 1958 and the month of 'fan. and Feb of. this year Explaining this in detail report filed . Motion by mr Ozmun seconded by Mr Howell: that the .'ills numbered fhom 40 thru 48 as listed in the record of `l'own accounts be paid as audited. I n Carried all voted Aye. Adjourned 4:00 P. M.
