Re: Eastlake Recreation Center Lounge Project
Dear Members of the Lansing Planning Board,
We are the owners of the property adjacent to the Eastlake Recreation Center and have had
the opportunity to review the proposed plans for improvements to the Recreation Center.
Based on our understanding of the proposal, we do not object to the project or to the
application currently before the Planning Board. We understand that the purpose of the
project is to improve the existing Recreation Center by creating additional lounge space for
spectators and families within the existing building.
Our support is based on the understanding that the recreational activities, spectators, and
related gatherings associated with the Recreation Center will remain within the existing
building and that the project will not result in an expansion of recreational activities or
assembly areas onto the outdoor portion of the property adjacent to our residence.
We also appreciate the applicant's willingness to consult with us regarding the proposed
landscaping between our properties.. We look forward to working cooperatively on any
landscaping or screening that will enhance the appearance of the area while respecting the
interests and privacy of neighboring property owners.

and wish the applicant success with the proposed improvements.
