questions and recommendations from Tompkins County GML-239 Review Recommendations.
Specifically:
1. This building will likely not contain any appliances for its likely use of operation. The
recommendations have been considered.
2. Electric heat pumps have been considered and work well. Given that there is a current natural
gas moratorium in Lansing, electric heat pumps would be the likely choice. The
recommendations have been considered.
3. I have solar panels on roofs of other buildings at the property. At this time, we would not
plan to place solar panels on this building, but that may change. The recommendations have
been considered.
4. The building will only have one window, and will have tight air sealing around all windows
and doors. The building is a standard rectangle shape. The recommendations have been
considered.
5-7. This is a one-unit building (less than 20 units).
