MINUTES
1. Call Meeting to Order
Present: Ed Dubovi, Robyn Bailey, John Hatfield, Travis Kitch, John Fleming, Todd Walters, Brian
Boerman
Non-CAC attendees: Christine Montague, Town Board;
A quorum of the CAC members was present.
2. The main topic of discussion was the 2025 Annual Report. The CAC made limited progress in 2025
mainly due to a lack of a long-term plan for a significant conservation effort. Some of the tasks
identified in the resolution creating the CAC were not feasible for several reasons. The Town never
implemented any of the recommendations in the OSCP and the CAC had limited administrative s upport
to make progress on the Climate Smart Communities program. Accordingly, the CAC is asking the
Town Board to clarify our role and to provide some admin support to carry out tasks assigned.
3. The Town received 5 applications for new CAC members. We briefly reviewed these and identified
two members that would be involved in the interview process as these appointments are the
responsibility of the Town Board. Continuing members were encouraged to complete their
applications.
4. John Hatfield, the CAC representative on the Zoning Advisory Committee, noted that the committee
met but little was done other than establish working protocols.
5. All members were encouraged to come to the next CAC meeting with ideas for efforts in 2026.
