This site at 8-18 TBR is an industrial site that is well manicured with lots of grass and open
space, many different varieties of trees, gardens and shrubs. It is always well maintained.
The proposed project will not be disturbing any of the grass, green space, or gardens. It will
add some new grass and maybe 6 buffering trees adjacent to the south property lines. This
project is so small, there is nothing else to add, nor is their room for much more.
I'm thinking the trees will be either a dense evergreen (Dwarf Alberta Spruce-(Picea
glauca `Conica) or arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis). This will provide a very nice green wall
buffer.
The size will be most likely 3-5 ft depending on what is available to buy at the given time.
The trees will be located along the south side of the building facing the Town of Lansing's new
DPW building. I would expect the town to be adding a buffer of their own on their side of the
property, so it should work out well with both sides adding a nice buffer.
