RESOLUTION NO, 5 - ACCEPT 'BID MR 1975 USED BROCKWAY DUMP TRUCK Haved by P4r. Discussed Pole Attachment Agreement between the Town of Groton and New York State Electric and Gas granting periuission to place upon or attaob Christmas lighting fixtures, flags,and flower baskets to poles located on five corners of EcLean Hamlet. McLean BeaU idICat7,on Committee plans to place unlighted Christmans decorations on the poles. 5 N RESOLUTION N0. 6 - ENTER DITTO POLE ATTACHMENT AGREEMENT WITH N YSE&G Moved by Mr. Cummings, seconded by Mr. VanBenschoten Ayes - Sovocool, VanBenschoten, Cummings, Graham, Robinson RESOLVED, that the Town of Groton enter into Pole Attachment Agreement with New York State Electric &o Gas for poles on five corners in Hamlet of McLean. RESOLUTION N0. 7 - ALTER AND REALIGN DIVISION LINES OF ALL ELECTION DISTRICTS Moved by Mr. Sovocool, seconded by Mr. Cummings Ayes - Sovocool, Curunings, VanBenschoten, Graham, Robinson WHEREAS, the Town of Groton consists of four (4) election districts comprising the entire Town with one polling place in each such district; and WHEREAS, it is now necessary to alter and realign each district with the Town of Groton in order to conform to Section 4 -100 of the Election Law of the State of New York; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Board of the Town of Groton as follows: 1) Division lanes of all election districts in the Town of Groton shall be altered and realigned as follows: ELECTION DISTRICT #1 - Bounded on the north by Town Line, east by Devlen Road, West Groton Road, Smith Road, Pleasant Valley Road and Sharpsteen Road, south by Town Line and west by Town Line, ELECTION DISTRICT #2 - Bounded on the north by Spring Street and Elm Street, east by Salt Road, south by Town Line and west by Sharpsteen Road, Pleasant Valley Road. and Smith Road. ELECTION DISTRICT #3 - Bounded on the north by Town Line, east by Salt Road, south by Elm Street and Spring Street and west by Smith Road, West Groton Road and Devlen Road, ELECTION DISTRICT #4 - Bounded on the north by Town Line, east by Town Line, south by Town Line and west by Salt Road, 2) A map of such election districts shall be made by the Town Board of the Town of Groton and attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Moved by Mr. Sovocool, seconded by Mr. Graham, to re- appoint Michael Post to the Planning Board for a term of 7 years and Mary Decker to the Appeals board for a term of _y:'years. Ayes - Sovocool, Cummings, VanBenschoten, Graham, Robinson. Supervisor Robinson was approached by Arland Heffron and Chris Parker regarding Rod and Gun Club having a rock concert. They wanted to know if there were any zoning restrictions. Rod & Gun Club will sell food. Alcohol can be brought on premises. Rock group (name unknown) has insurance, security and rent -a- johns. Concert will be from Noon til Midnight with 1000 tickets being sold. Proposed dates are July 4 or Labor Day. Consensus of Town Board was to check ordinance • and obtain additional information from Gun Club. There being no further business, Mr. Sovocool moved to adjourn meeting, seconded by 19r.
