Town will Be offered a choice of services for 1986. County will get

Robinson: Do you have adequate septic system?
Griep: I have an approved 900 gallon septic system for 3 bedrooms
Robinson: You had a lot of other junk around there.
Griep: I've cleaned it up.....I use it to repair my existing cars.
I'm a mechanic by trade.
Robinson: Are you going to put other building on back of trailer?
• Griep: I would like to but I might use it for storage. Strike off
of there and I'll just add trailer.
RESOLUTION N0. 8 - Authorize Lacey Griep to add mobile home
to existing mobile home

RESOLVED, that the Town Board approved application of Lacey Griep to
add a 12 x 60 mobile home addition to an existing mobile home with
new roof covering both units. Conforming with Mobile Home
Ordinance and N. Y. S. Building and Fire Code regulations.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that 12' x 16' building will not be attached
to mobile home and will be sold or moved off property within sixty (60)
days.

Discussed'Talbot petition for annexation. Attorney Fitzgerald said petition is not
complying with the law. Pe't'ition should. be in accordance -with General
Municipal Law 703. Petition should be signed 'by all landowners in area.
Those owning more that 50% in value of assessed property. Within twenty
® (20) days after receipt of such petition, boards shall respectively or
jointly publish notice in official paper, with co=pies to ;property owners
involved and school district. Nearing shall 'be held not less than twenty
(20) days- nor-more than forty (40) days after publication and nailing of
notice. (Jack will write up notice.) Within ninety (90) days after
hearing, boards must approve such proposed annexation.

Gary Wood reported that he has issued nine building permits during the
month of April, Housing is up 100% over last year.
Discussed 1985 summer jobs programs for youth between 14 and 19 years
of age to be reimbused by County at 50% of 3.35 per hour up to $750
total reimbursement to municipality. Some guide lines (are:
10) Must pay $3.35 per hour;
20 Period covered is June 24 - August 31, 1985;
3. municipality must employ young people between the ages of
14 - 19;
4.) Municipality must assume full responsibility as the employers for
providing Workers' Compensation, Social Security and other
employinent- related expenditures;
5.) Municipality will assign summer youth workers to work sites
where they can perform duties allowable under the N. Y. S. Labor
Laws under adequate supervision.
Supervisor indicated, that the Historical Society could use some help
and will provide supervision. Also we need. some painting and /or window
washing done around building.
RESOLU`1'ION NO. 10 - Participate in 1985 Summer Jobs :Program

RESOLVED, that the Town of Groton Vi ll participate in 1985 Summer
Jobs Program with up to $750.00 reimbursable from the County.
We have State Auditors in office doing 1984 annual Audit.
Supervisor Robinson read proposed resolution from the Town of Ulysses
regarding recent increases in dog control services, urging State
Legislators to introduce legislation requiring the return to municipalities
in the form of per capita aid earmarked for dog control services a
significant portion of fees and charges paid to the State in connection with
dog control service.
Supervisor and Zoning officer will complete SEAR Negative Declaration
forms for Gleason Gravel Mine.

.DELETING ABANDONED ROADS.
Supervisor read legal notice published May 29th in the Groton Journal and
Courier.
Robinson: 'Does the board have any comments? These are the same eleven
roads we declared abandoned at our April 9th meeting. This
hearing is to remove then► from the Official Town Map,
Robinson: Since no one is here from the public with any comments either
for or against, we will close the hearing.
