Hr. Sovocool moved that the minutes of September 8, 15 and 22 be approved as

Claims #237 to #262 of the highway Department and #244 to 7#273 of the General
Fund wexc presented for audit. Mr. VanBerlschaten moved that the bills be paid
and the Clex`k instructed to draw warrant for them. Seconded by [`fir. Carey.

site as yet undetermined in Groton since it was built in Groton as the first
Bow String Truss Bridge. Moving brid.gs can possibly be funded through grants.
M has offered a temporary site near senior citizens complex to store bridge
until it can be errected ,
Highway Superintendent reported that Pao -i7d. Plan has been appxoved by county,
3iok Street is to be done in 1981 and Town Line Road in 1982. Road plan is
$37,000 plus $12,000 Town funds for a tottRl of $50,000. Donovan plan is good
fox' next years —cast has not been updated since 1972. Thexe are now four
different highway programs which hopefully will be consolidated, into one,

Discussed Human.Services Contract, Consensus was that the coalition was very
benefical to town and, should continue to support it.
Ceracohe TV has a. new manager, Mr. Bradley Dusto, who will be in change of
the Ithaca office.
Monthly reports from the Town Clerk and Zoning Officer were reviewed by the

Sharing Budget and )fire District Budget on Monday, November 3, 1980 at

Purpose of meeting was to work on budget and pass resolutions as necessary.
Board members worked on tentative budget making changes as necessary for
preliminary budget.
RESOLUTION NO. 20 - ADOPT TENTATIVE BUDGET AS PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR
1981 AND RE- AFFIRA4 BUDGET HEARING DATES

RESOLVED, that board accept -tentative budget as preliminary budget
and re- affirmed schedule for Budget Hearing, Federal Revenue Sharing
Hearing and Fire Budget Hearing for Monday, November 3, 1980 at,8:00 Pme
RESOLUTION N0. 21 - 1981 YOUTH I RECREATION PROJECT
Moved. by Mrs. Robinson, seconded. by Mr. Rankin
Ayes - Sovocool, Carey, Rankin, VanBenschoten, Robinson
RESOLVED, that the Toi-m of Groton will participate in the Youth
Recreation Project for 1981 in the amount of $ 3200 with $1600 being
reimbursed by the State.
There being no further business, motion was made and seconded -to adjourn
meeting at 10:30 P.M.
