REGULAR MEETING
The Regular Meeting of the Town of Groton Planning Board was called to order by
Chairman Ed Neuhauser at 7:30 p.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - 19 MARCH 2O15
A motion was made by Member Barbara Clark to approve the Minutes of the 19 March 2015
Planning Board meeting, as submitted. The motion was seconded by Member Monica Carey,
with the vote recorded as follows:
Ayes: Chairman Neuhauser Nays: None

Member Morey
Member Maloney Hahn
Member Wyllie
Motion carried.
This becomes Action #16 of 2015.
OLD BUSINESS - NONE
NEW BUSINESS
Andrew Montreuil. Applicant/Andrew & Maria Montreuil, Reputed Owners - 114 Mack Street -
TM #26.-1-27 - Proposed Business (Ye Olde Goat Cart)
Chair Neuhauser recognized the Montreuils who explained that they were seeking approval to produce
soaps and lotions, etc., made from goat's milk, at a new 12 ft. by 28 ft. manufactured shed to be
placed on the subject property, all as explained in the "Business Plan" accompanying their application.
The products will be sold online, at craft shows, and through wholesaling partners. They are also
applying for a grant from the Village of Groton. They also will have two small female goats onsite. No
additional traffic is planned.
Chairman Neuhauser informed the Montreuils that a Public Hearing was required.

With no further discussion, a motion was made by Member Carey to approve the Preliminary Site
Plan for this business, with a Public Hearing set for 21 May 2015 at 7:30 p.m. The motion was
seconded by Member Mark Baxendell, with the vote recorded as follows:

Motion carried.
This becomes Action #17 of 2015.
OTHER BUSINESS
❖ Chairman Neuhauser reported that the Town will be revising their Comprehensive
Plan; Planning Board input will be needed. He also stated that there may be a couple
of other applications on next month's Agenda.
❖ Councilman Gamel- Had nothing to report at this time.
ADJOURNMENT
At 7:36 p.m., a motion was made by Member Lisa Maloney Hahn to adjourn the meeting. The motion
was seconded by Member Bret Wyllie, with all members present voting in favor.
