Attorney Bucko met with Village Housing Authority and discussed Gadabout
Bus. Bus will be stared in Town shed. Ben will draw up contract
indicating the Town is riot responsible for main'hai.nance, vandalism or
anything at all.
Roger Gleason, Chairman of the Town Planning Board. was present to discuss
possibly revising Town Sub- Division Ordinance. They are having problems
on how to impliment Sub- Division Ordinance which does not apply to rural
areas in Groton. Gary Evans of County Planning Board has been authorized
'by the County to do some work on revising Grotons Sub - Division Ordinance.
Mr. Gleason would like board's feelings on whether we should go into it.
Attorney Bucko indicated there is no growth in Town of Groton and
regulations need modifications to simplify conveyance of land. Mr. Walpole
moved that he was in favor of reviewing Sub -Died lion regulations as to
what is best for the Town and. possibly updating ordinance. Seconded by
Mr. Sovocool. Ayes - Sovocool, Walpole, VanBenschoten, Robinson.
Mr. Gleason also noted that there should. be some funds to defray expenses
for Mr. Gary Evans,
Mr. Gleason gave a brief description of possible categories for revised
sub - division. A brief discussion was held among board members. Mr.
Gleason also noted Planning Board files were a mess with some 1976 minutes
missing or misplaced. He requested some assistance in getting the files
in order. Boards consensus was he contact Planning Board secretary and
have her or someone else arrange files but not 'to exceed monies budgeted..
Moved by Mr. Walpole to hold a Special Town Board, meeting on December 27,
1979 at 1:00 P.M. to close out year end business. Seconded by Mr.
Sovocool. All ayes.
There being no further business, Mr. VanBenschoten moved for adjournment,
seconded by Mr. Sovocool at 8:55 P.M

Claims #307 to #329 of the Highway Department and #345 to #377 of the
General Fund were presented for audit. Mr. Walpole moved that the bills
be paid and the Clerk instructed to di aw warrant for them. Seconded by

attorney look into immediately and contact State TV Commission if necessary.
