Estimated project cost (High) $29,569.32 and (Low) $22,969,32. , If there are 30 subscribers, the high pro rata.share is $574.96 and the low $446.62. This covers 2.06 miles from Route 222 around the triangle. Residents objected to paying for trunk line along Cayuga Street in the Village. Mr. Hall explained that the line in place is only a feeder line to Trailer -Park and is not sufficient to .,handle line extension to triangle. Mr. Hall, Mr, Shurtliff, Mr. Fitzgerald and Mrs. Robinson will meet on April 28th or 29th to discuss project, Annual road inspection was set for Monday,. April 19 at 10:00 A.M. On Wednesday night the Planning Board, Atty, Jack Fitzgerald and Teresa Robinson met to go over legal points' of zoning more than substance ofthe law. Board discussed adopting as a Local Law instead of Ordinance and publish reasonable summary. Clerk will look into cost, of publishing. Photocopies of ordinance will be given to each board member next week. Seconded by Mr. Carey. Ayes Sovocool, Rankin, VanBenschoten, Carey, Robinson, Highway Fund Claim Nos. 128 to 153 in the amount of $6,208. 18 and General Fund Claim Nos. 116 to 137 in the amount of $4,105.73 were presented for audit. Mr. Carey moved that the bills be paid and the; clerk instructed to draw warrant for them. Lyle Raymond was appointed previously to represent the town. Official notification of the appointment will be mailed to the county. Gypsy moth is the main county problem right now. These trips are enjoyed by 70 75 people. He had prepared some options for consideration: 1) spread cost evenly over entire town; 2) low rate 26.72 and high side 34.92 -- simple payback analysis with project payoff in three years or 20.06 and 26.00 in four years; 3) spread whole thing over entire town - Present rate $6,00 extra to all subscribers would be $4,41; 4) half aid and construction spread over town - $13.98/mo. for Rt. 38 w/ $1*76 or $1,37 .rate ,increase 5) ask- Village to .pick up $5000 cost of trunk line on Cayuga Street, On prior line extension projects money had to be paid in full before project was started. Mr. Hall arrived at a more reasonable agreement -- signing of petition (non-binding), notice of meeting and sign a bonding promissory note, will order materials based on signatures,,Ionce material is in half of money is forthcoming. After project is built and service is active, remainder of money is collected, Supervisor Robinson said 'she had heard that another company from Cayuga County would provide cable at a cost not as high.
