Since we were notified yesterday at 5:00 P.M* that the Railroad property in the 'Sown and Village was tax exempt, thus loitering our assessment valuation -� which tax rate was originally based on for the Preliminary Budget -- the Board felt we would have to absorb loss and could not lo�ier budget or tax rate.
