Dear Mr . Senter :
I am writing to you as follow up to several telephone calls that
I have made to the Groton Town Offices regarding a situation
on Lick Street in the Town of Groton . I do not know the number ,
but it is the Wilbur residence located between Elm Street Ex -
tension and South Main Street Extension .
There is a fifth - wheeler camper located on that property which
has been lived in for about two years . I may not be entirely
clear as to the zoning la .,as in the Town of Groton , but I am sure
that a recreation vehicle is not classified a mobile home nor
is it classified as a " residence " .
Furthermore , the " skirting " on this fifth wheeler consists of
several colored tarps weighted down with garbage bags of who -
knows - what .
I live i. n a mobile home ( ,14 ' X65 ' ) , for which I had to hp. vo a
building permit and a new layout for my septic system . This
was a replacement for a previous mobile home on the same spot .
I have to live with the zoning laws for mobile homes and I firmly
believe that other people should do the same .
Please look into this matter and keep me advised as to your
findings .
